This is ludicrous. Obvious troll is obvious troll. These arent his friends. otherwise he wouldnt have gone on public forums to complain about them.
The amount of options TS3 provides its users creates absolutely no excuse to this kind of behavior. The obvious solution was to create another "CLOSED BETA TEST CHANNEL" and prohibit access for those without a special tag (also doable with TS3)
so gtfo, OP.

It's ZOS's fault for making it a closed beta instead of an open one and imposing an NDA. Now those of us who didn't get an invite are now persona non grata, even in our own guilds.
I'd find a new guild. They sound like jerks TBH.
Maybe his guild was one of the top guilds in ESO. With a 6 month waiting list.

Once all Beta testing is complete we will re-invite you, but you must also resubmit a guild application.
Thanks
Don't forget he has to sacrifice his firstborn too!
As much as that might suck, I wouldn't mess with ZeniMax and NDAs.I was apparently the only one in my guild who didn't get a beta invite. And because the Beta NDA means they can't talk about the game around me, they decided to kick me out.
Thanks a lot, ZOS. I have been in that guild since 2014. Now they're treating me like a leper because you just HAD to make it a closed beta instead of an open one like usual.

All they have to do is make a restricted channel that only people with invites can enter. You are free to hang out in other channels. If they didn't do that, it is the guild's fault.
This is precisely what we did.
So why did you have to kick him from the guild, and having done so apologetically while assuring him he can return after the beta why would you make him submit an application to rejoin?
Something's not quite right in all this.

Doesn't that also break the NDA? By joining a NDA only channel you are by default telling others you got the invite. I thought the agreement was you can't do that?
Then again they are allowing players to talk about the affects of skill changes for existing classes so maybe they relaxed a bit on that whole don't tell anybody you are in beta thing.

Again?

I've been in that guild since 2014. They're my friends. Now they're scared ZOS is going to pull their ESO accounts if they even mention the beta around me.
Well, it's not like you're gonna blab about what you hear to zone chat and make a YT vid called "Yo my peeps are in Morrowind Beta, here's da 411, fam!"
Right?
Clearly an overreaction on their part.
Of course not. Like I said, I'm not even that interested in it. But when I showed up on Teamspeak today, suddenly it was like "Did you get a beta invite?" "uh, no" "Sorry there is an NDA we all had to agree to, sooooo you gotta go..."
Hell, I didn't even know what an NDA was when they told me.

@Yolokin_Swagonborn, that's not the original poster.

Wait he's been in the guild since 2014 and he still has to resubmit a guild application for not being in the guild for 2 months?
