I would go beta if I were them. Read these forums with the qq sorc threads. You have people who joined during the proc set phase and think that is what the game should be like. Id rather have fewer opinions from people experienced then 100 pages of garbage

This is no one's fault and no one is doing anything wrong.

ZOS decided to do a closed beta and it is their choice. Your guild is following the NDA rules and not including you in any beta information. They are both within their purview to do what they did.

Feeling entitled and ranting about it here isn't going to change the fact that everyone else is doing what they are supposed to do.

People are suggesting that it isn't right and that you should leave the guild in protest or something. This may be the right choice because you may not understand rules/laws and so forth that they have and are following.

The amount of options TS3 provides its users creates absolutely no excuse to this kind of behavior. The obvious solution was to create another "CLOSED BETA TEST CHANNEL" and prohibit access for those without a special tag (also doable with TS3)

They are just protecting themselves, and as much as it may suck, the closed beta will be over soon enough.
If they had let you stay in the ts channel, they very likely could face a substantial fine themselves. Don't take it personally.

Doesn't that also break the NDA? By joining a NDA only channel you are by default telling others you got the invite. I thought the agreement was you can't do that?

Then again they are allowing players to talk about the affects of skill changes for existing classes so maybe they relaxed a bit on that whole don't tell anybody you are in beta thing.

it really wasnt that closed. Some people who only logged in once to PTS got invites.

HInt- download and log into PTS once.

This is a hilarious thread. These sound like the kind of people that kick you out of the trials group if you don't hump the meta hard enough.

Granted that we only are hearing one side of this story but still. Sorry bro, you are not cool enough to be in this guild anymore, so instead of creating a PTS channel and directing people to talk about it only in there, we are going to kick you. Feel free to send an application later when the PTS ends.
