The grind goes on, as does the argument for and against it. Supporters argue that it keeps people running content, and everyone else points to the obvious fact: It's boring and deterring. It would be great if ZoS could afford to put out content every 3-6 months, but my development experience suggests otherwise, and from what I've seen the player-base rarely understands the impact of corporate decisions, and conclusions of shareholder meetings. While the feedback is great, the subscriptions are great, and streamers are great, nothing is going to take precedence to company decisions and leadership.

Throughout the forum there have been multiple threads requesting a token system. There is almost as much support as there is opposition. Hopefully everyone will support this, probably not, but here goes:

Buff crafting and do something else with "The Golden". Allow players to craft and upgrade jewelry as they have asked for it, for so long, and do something else with "The Golden". Allow enchanters to reforge traits on items, with the materials gated behind veteran content (end veteran dungeon hardmode bosses, veteran trial bosses, VMA Completion with appropriate score). Normal and world content should drop scraps of this material, that a large number (10k? 100k?) can combine to create one of these items.

Disclaimer: This doesn't change the game from a slot machine into an adventure, it should however reduce the time you need to spend at the slots, in addition to making your found gear more valuable (another reason to subscribe during the expansion. The suggestion for scraps comes from the fact that I loathe this design of character progression: Want a challenge? Here's a challenge! Good job, now here's something to make it easier!

With that being said, I would also suggest the trial vitality and scoring system be made to apply to all veteran content, and offer a bonus chest at the end of the content based on score. What's in the box? Just about anything could be a reward from the box (Perfect Roe, Motfis, Upgrade material, more Set items, Nirncrux), with record setting scores awarding crowns (OK MAYBE NOT! CALM DOWN CORPORATE!).

Hope the majority likes this idea, and I wish Deltia well in his other games.

    definitely jewelry crafting, and some crating method to "level" gear so it's not disposable.

    While we're at it crafting transmog for appearance purposes. Also, use the old DIABLO system, where it looked at the gear you had slotted as a determining factor in drops.

    The point should be to play the game because it's fun and entertaining, not just to force a grind... there are plenty of crap MMOs that already do that.

    Do you want guaranteed progression, or MAYBE progression, based on the current RNG system?
