People on both sides seem to just expect the other side to sit by and not express their views on the matter.
People don't see the hypocrisy in making a thread complaining about people complaining, that is not directed at you op. Your post is well thought out, while the person I quoted posted nothing while telling others not to flood the forums.
Someone with a differing opinion doesn't mean their opinion is invalid. People SHOULD express their views and opinions on the changes. Also if insulting people is against forum rules then not sure why all those post calling people names aren't being erased.
If you like the changes then great, good for you. But those of us who don't are allowed to express our views without being insulted.
Telling people who don't like the changes not to post about the changes makes no sense. If the only way to get things changed is to voice your opinion then why wouldn't they do so?0 -
FlicksZ✭✭✭Same 10 or so people doing it in near every thread with a negative opinion/feedback. It stands out like a sore thumb especially when the forums light up like this with negativity.
It sounds good and well intentioned on paper but the ones I have read since this debacle started are actually doing more damage then they may realise. Of course you have the polar opposite and the same applies there.
Don't worry about it and don't take it to heart. Its easy to recognise those two extremes and dismiss them from a well constructed thread or discussion therein.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Couldn´t agree with you more @GreasyDave . These kind of changes often hurts those who are just below the "elitist" roof. The best raiding guilds will always find a way around stuff since the groupsupport they can provid (in combo with a lot of experience into the game) will balance up the insane nerfs. In most cases at least. The problem is just that these raiding guilds represent such a small part of the community (not saying that they contribute with 0, because they contribute with a lot of stuff to the game), and balancing the game after these players is never a good strategy.1 -

You're free to try and solve it yourself so long as your gasps for air and attempts to remove the weight, or protect others from it does not interfere with the quiet grazing of the sheep beside you. A lot of the discussion has turned into insult flinging from both sides (granted I am in the camp that agrees with the changes but I welcome open honest debate of tehse things, not ad hominem nonsense like I myself have received when defending the changes as well). It's just, I don't get why people get so nasty,"Your mistake is you begged for your life, not for mercy. I will show you there are many fates worse than death."
