    StamBlade? Maybe
MagBlade? Nah, we'll be getting (usually) 1 horrible nerf, either directly by messing with our skills or indirectly by messing with something else that has an impact on ut

The Master Architect set looks like it was designed to put magblades back in trials. So we have that going for us.

Really looking forward to Monday's patch notes to see what else they have in store.
7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. Requiem, Legend, Knights of Daggerfall. Currently retired from the wars; waiting on performance improvements.

"will they buff the nightblade in morrowind"

ZOS is going to remove stealth dmg bonus in Morrowind (basically it is like removing core gameplay mechanics that NB is based on). So here is your answer....

siphoning strikes regens health instead of stam now along with mag, leeching strikes got completely reworked to now being a stam version of siphoning regening stam and health on light attacks. Overall to me i dont see at as a nerf as mag blades only heals are refreshing path and swallow soul. Maybe with the new siphoning attacks we can switch out swallow soul for force pulse and put our vma staves on the back bar increasing damage output. But with the new resource management we'll have to learn next patch its hard to say RN. With the changes everyone got a nerfed a little but Nightblades to me I think have the best resource management because of siphoning.

Then don't go over to the pts forum and look at the numbers that siphon is currently returning. It will hurt your heart.

You know that the new leeching strike and siphoning attacks gives back 1500 health and 350 stam or magic back. The 1500 health is cut in half in PvP and cant crit. Its a huge Nerf.

I'm sure zos with give atleast one decent balancing update during pts(well hopefully). I doubt it'll be anything drastic though. They probably won't change merciless resolve, or any of the less used morphs. If anything I hope they just buff siphoning attacks a bit and add the stam return back atleast to some extent. Which even then isn't a buff, just slightly less of a nerf.

I've heard from numerous people so far that Mag NB is in a rather decent spot next patch for PvE DPS because it has become so much more costly for DKs/Sorcs/Templars (especially Sorcs) to maintain their usual rotations.

NB can sustain much easier, allowing it to invest more into damage and still complete its rotation. The same cannot be said for Mag Sorcs, who have much more expensive rotations.

Take this with a grain of salt though - I cannot back this up with my own testing cause I'm on console :persevere: If Mag NB is still too weak, it won't be by the wide margin we see in Homestead.
