Good riddance? That guy has done more for this community than pretty much anyone. What have YOU done? Oh wait nobody knows who the hell you are.
His presence will be missed and I find it very disturbing the amount of people leaving the community. When people like that start to leave it does not bode well.
At least PC players have a relatively stable platform. Xbox is a mess and some of the best content is nearly unplayable.
Dont think the game will last much longer without significant change.
For him (and all the other people acting like their hair is on fire) to jump ship while this is all still on the PTS is short-sighted to put it nicely.

I disagree. It's a sign that the developers are completely disconnected from the ESO community and probably have no idea what they're really doing. And most things that hit this game's PTS make it into live--there's no reason to expect the patch notes will significantly change.
It is a legitimate concern that the dev team will run the game into the ground with this "vision" of their's. Anyone who has been into online gaming for the past 10 years has seen plenty of great games destroyed by their own developers, despite having a good product and a good community. I can make a list with dozens of them. Will you be able to add ESO to that list in a few years?

And if it does turn out to be that horrible, THEN you leave. Rage-quitting like a spoiled child while decisions are still being made is not worthy of applause.

I don't know about you, but if I was on a ship that was clearly sinking I wouldn't stick around just in case it didn't.

For better or worse, once development gets to PTS the decisions have been made. PTS is about tweaking. But once that emotion fades he wants to keep playing and will see how things go come after the morrowind release. He is not quitting. He has said he is not subbing or putting out more content because he does not support the direction they have chosen. He advises us all to have fun and speak with our wallets IF we r unhappy. His content will be missed and I feel for new players who won't have him to guide them along. Fingers crossed that they hear the community and that he feels able to return!

He's not trolling, you literally compared the game to a sinking ship and then said anyone with a brain would get off of it so.....why you still onboard?

It's their game? Doesn't matter what's best or not, they can do whatever the Hell they want.
You are right, but it is my time, and my money. I will spend them as I see fit. Until morrwind I'm going to live in vma. I'll keep an eye on the pts and hope for the best. But if june hits and this goes live then well,... oh well.1 less subcriber won't hurt zos. Maybe alot will tho. Zos is greedy, if ppl get mad and unsub amd their best promoters are raging then zos will definetly have to adapt, or suffer the income loss.
period.

If people want to act like they have a more direct connection to the game which gives them the right to crap on ZOS, they should go work for ZOS.

Welcome to the free world.
Here, when people disagree with something they talk about it. Sometimes they talk about it loudly. Sometimes they talk about it loudly and stomp out of the room, taking their business elsewhere as you suggested. That's exactly what Deltia has done here--voice his opinion, except this time he's being loud and stomping out of the room. For someone who makes his living off this game and has always been super positive regarding ESO, that's a first.

At the same time, "GOODBYE GAME, FOREVER!" videos really irk me. As someone who has been a part of online/gaming communities for over 10 years I have seen stuff like this over and over and over and over. The star of the moment does a big ole "BYE FELICIA" and the masses break out in tears. Then lo and behold, a month or so later, they are back playing again.
I am not saying that he is doing or to do this but if you look at his twitter feed he seems to be doing a bit of emo rage quitting prior to his video - there is enough negativity going on right now. Why make it worse by childish rants. Now I will admit, the video was a nice change from his drama tweets - it was well done and many ways mature. But instead of a BYE FELICIA to something that has been a good source of income why not just slowly transition to something else and maybe slowly gain a new fan base along the way. He COULD have still let ZOS know privately he was exiting the game and reasons as well. But everyone loves the DRAMZZZZ Right? LOL!!!
Anyway, this is just my opinion. His dramatic exit stage left still will not discount in my eyes all the good he has done for the community up to now. Believe me I have had my share of Bye Felicia moments in another game - very public Bye Felicia's that make me cringe when I read them now, ha. And if he comes back I will continue to read his blog!
Good Luck Mr. Deltia - wherever you might land in the interwebs!
There's not a lot of good content out there for ESO. The community is large, but many of the ESO fan sites are, with exception for maybe Fextralife and UESP, lacking in information or are just extremely out of date. Deltia promoted the game and tried to make information available. People can argue for or against his builds, but he really put a face out there for the community.Sad I knew people who started ESO just because of his vids.

Whilst a lot of you on here may think sustain needed a nerf etc as content was too easy, did anyone stop and think that whilst this makes things a bit "challenging" for the 1% it actually makes things stupidly hard for the 99% possibly to the point where it isn't enjoyable at all. Also take note what does this in reality achieve? Wow craglorn trial bosses take longer. That is honestly all. Vmol twins may well be near impossible given you have what 4mins 50s to kill them before 8 adds drop for the 2nd time and cause a wipe and no major mending for the stupid bleeds in the trial.
Even for less experienced players, molag kena last phase will prove impossible to some as will warden as you'll be overrun with orbs once your deeps drops.
All they ever needed to do was design content that is harder for this issue. Not more health..not more one shots. But stuff that requires mechanics and not stacking and burning. The real issue is evidently zos lacks the talent pool to change this methodology surrounding hard content.
As for pvp. Literally scrap CP all round, scrap battlesprirt, More people enjoyed the event than didn't. Huge problem solved. No stupid health / heals / permablocking. All done and dusted. I don't understand why this is so hard for zos to comprehend.
