Is dungeon finder broken?

Hi everyone. I've been searching as DPS to run some easy norm dungeons. I understand as DPS you'll have long wait times. Just waiting around 15-30 minutes before the timer pops is crazy. Is dungeon finder busted or just entirely to many DPS and not enough Healer/Tanks?

Not many healers and tanks(particularly tanks) in MMOs in general, particularly those willing to subject themselves to random groups.0 -
JiKama✭✭✭✭I've had the timer go off only to see a healer/DPS not ready up. It's frustrating after waiting for a long period of time. I'm normally harvesting nodes or fishing while waiting for the timer to go off. So frustrating -_-0

AndrewQ84✭✭✭Combination of the two. When my gf and I que as dps, it takes forever. When we que as tank and heals, it's almost instant. But even with the instant, the finder is still all bugs and no go.Sa'hira of the Shadows, DC Nightblade and ruins explorer extraordinaire.

I don't recall the group finder ever working perfectly. There seems to always be little to someone's big bugs with it.
But as far as your specific problem as others have said there are just to many dps. On my healer or tank I get instant queues. Dps could be anywhere from 1 minute to a couple hours depending on which dungeon you queue for and if it is the daily.Edited by alexkdd99 on April 20, 2017 8:15PM0 -

✭✭✭The 15-30 minutes part as a dps is pretty normal yes. Were you queueing for the day's pledges? If not you'll likely never find anyone at all unless you ask in guild or perhaps in zone if you get lucky.
It's only broken in 100500 other ways

KanedaSyndrome✭✭✭✭It's too many dps compared to tanks/healers.
Going as a tank I get dungeons with in 10 seconds, even if non-pledge dungeons. On my dps, if I queue for a non-pledge dungeon I need to be extremely lucky to get one within 1-2 hours. ✭✭✭✭✭Yes, I was doing pledges yesterday (with guildies) and we tried to use dungeon queue for quick teleport. As soon as we traveled, it kicked us from the instance, as if someone changed dungeon mode or disbanded the group, and we couldnt queue again.

Queueing alone is significantly less buggy. Assuming everyone you end up with has queued alone.
Now when I tried to queue a full 4 man premade group into vCoS for free buffs and port, we got a weird buggy loading screen that blinked on-off-on, then 3 of us crashed during the porting, then one of us crashed again after logging back in and porting again (manually) XDEdited by Magdalina on April 20, 2017 8:47PM1
