3 or 6 Collectibles in Housing is not enough..

Why is this so limited? You have entire city sized player housing for sale yet I can only have a combination of 3 (or 6 with ESOPlus) mounts/pets/assistants. Kind of mind boggling, IMO. Why give me giant stables if I can't fill them out with more than a few mounts?

I really hope you folks are taking feedback on Homestead and plan on improving not only it's usability but also it's user experience in the future.

I agree. The island is also limited to 10 collectibles despite being so huge. It makes no sense when a player's combined collection of pets and mount can easily exceed 40+ units. If anything, not being able to showcase your cool mount and pet collection can hurt crown sales.

I would like it if they released small animals that were "furniture" items that you could place around the home/yard like frogs, dragonflies, butterflies, etc. that are not subject to the collections limit.

100% agree on that second paragraph. Anything to increase the "fun" you can get out of housing, would be great. Especially the exclusive ones that cost actual money. I need more value-added benefits, I guess, lol..

Feedback has been given to Zos about this already and they have remained silent. That can mean only one thing, that they are planning to increase the caps on housing eventually either through the crown store or eso+.

I hope so. I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't expect it to be unlimited or whatever, but it's gotta be more than 3/6, lol, and definitely not an ONLY plus or crown store thing.. the vanilla folks deserve it as well!

Yup, incentive to get collectibles in your home is one of the main reasons to buy a house in game. I can understand gimping the amount on a free house, but any other house should have at least double what they do now.

Way to put a limit on FUN, Zenimax.

I don't know guys, it could be a performance thing as well (I'm talking in the biggest of houses, not the smaller ones). I have the Ebonheart Chateau. and I'm only halfway to the Item Limit (though I have Plus and apparently that doubles it).

And as it stands now, my game struggles to load the map upon entry. I have my 3 assistants and a couple pets scattered around, and one single mount out. And even still, there is loading issues, most of the times the Chateau remains empty for a good 20-30 seconds on my arrival, then everything finally spawns all at once.

Obviously if you only had collectibles, it wouldn't be an issue - but once you start adding furniture that has to be all loaded piece by piece, you gotta consider that's a burden on the system.

And take my word for it because I swear nothing is scarier than loading into my Chateau and hearing the noise of every single light, fire, and the Dolmen Anchors I have as decorations - all spawning 20 seconds after me with a load eruption noise. It's like a Pinion noise x100 with a secondary sound of the Red Mountain erupting over 10,000 screaming Dunmer.

I have zero issues loading a large fully furnished house. Also, the houses are instanced, so I don't think that that is the issue when you look at the load time for non-instanced large towns and cities that are much more populated with items and NPCs.
