Although I was making a joke, I have come across guilds in other games with a waiting list. One in particular was a very popular raiding guild with a 2 month backlog of players waiting to join. They constantly had a full roster, so when one was kicked for inactivity, the spot was quickly filled.

A guildmate of mine from FFXIV once told me about a guild he applied for that asked for references from 5 other guilds.

Did you even read my post? The reason I got kicked was because this is a closed beta and my guildees would get in trouble even talking about it around me. ZOS made the choice to make it closed and invite-only, and require NDA's. As a consequence, those of us who didn't get invites are now shunned in our own guilds.

You know why you weren't picked for closed beta? I think I have an idea. Hint: "its all ZOS fault"

If that were the case, I'm pretty sure Deltia and Fengrush wouldn't have had a snowball's chance in hell of getting an invite either.

They provide constructive feedback along with the insults/whining. ZOS wants the constructive feedback. You only have the insults/whining.

Some people have a bit of power on eso with their little guilds but the beautiful thing is, in real life they are at the bottom of the food chain with hardly any, if any friends.

This ^^^. Zos has no control over his your guild manages their TS. Really seems like a petty way to treat you when a PW protected channel could have been created, though you would have been in the be lobby alone.

All they have to do is make a restricted channel that only people with invites can enter. You are free to hang out in other channels. If they didn't do that, it is the guild's fault.

If they did make a separate channel and you nagged them about being left out, than it is on you.

In no scenario is it ZOS' fault. Your guild members could have agreed to not talk Morrowind in Teamspeak. They are the ones who didn't want to do that.

I agree. If his guild has a waiting list, you would think they have over 400 members. I do not believe that he is the only one without an invite.

Did he get kicked out of guild, or out of teamspeak? Sounded to me like he only got booted from Teamspeak and refused to accept that the other guild members were respecting the NDA.

Thank you. This is the case, Pallmor has been a member of our guild for a long time. He is one of our beloved twitch trolls as well.

Our TeamSpeak beta channel had been marked as "not a hangout" so discussions or group content are to be conducted and the channel vacated so our members who did not receive an invite will not feel alienated.

Most games have some sort of closed betas, especially during the earlier testings. Your guild being jerks about it is not ZOS's fault - there were many ways they could have handled it without alienating you or breaking their agreement.

Upset you won't get to beta-test? I kinda sorta get, since we've been able to in the past.

Upset your guild acted poorly to the NDA? I get.

Upset with ZoS that your guild acted poorly? No. There are plenty of reasons to be annoyed at the company for, that's not really one of them.

Doesn't that also break the NDA? By joining a NDA only channel you are by default telling others you got the invite. I thought the agreement was you can't do that?

Then again they are allowing players to talk about the affects of skill changes for existing classes so maybe they relaxed a bit on that whole don't tell anybody you are in beta thing.
