I personally am all ab theory crafting, and balance. As much as I enjoy grinding out the best gear to complete my builds, and make myself as powerful as possible, I enjoy the idea of low floors to allow lowbies to be competitive, and absolute metas to be not so absolute. Which is why I'm looking forward to Morrowind.

Yes, I'm aware that some changes will hamper the ability to complete certain vet trials. HOWEVER, calm the f down. This change isn't permanent ffs... if certain content is unsurpassable then it'll be fixed.

In the mean time, start thinking outside of the box and create new builds. View it as a challenge rather than cry in self loathing, and pity because your infinite 40k DPS is about to change.

There's ALWAYS a "gamebreaking" feature about to go live... yet here we are.

On the bright side, I am absolutely pumped for buff/debuff timers being added to the UI! Stoked.

I can understand the anger to a point, I can understand ranting/venting about something you have a passion for.

I just wish people would stop repeating the same lines over and over and go try PTS for themselves.

The game was better with out cp and with caps. Tho there was no progression. I think what they have done is great, just need to balance the warden thats it really.

I do not like the changes. I did not grind hundreds of dungeons to heavy and light attack. Also being competitive doesn't mean anything, no player that has played the game for a few weeks or even months should ever beat people that have played three years and they wont... ever. I had more kills and got more ap on the non cp campaigns than I ever have on the cp campaigns. The skill gap is just wider not narrower no matter how you align the CP.

Sorcerna, proud beta sorc. RIP April 2014 to May 31 2016 DArk Brotherhood. Out of retirement for negates and encases. Sorcerna will be going back into retirement to be my main crafter Fall 2018. Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. Too much qq too little pew pew. 16 AD 2 DC. 0 EP cause they bad, CP 2300 plus 18 level 50 toons. NA, PC, Grey Host#SORCLIVESMATTER actually they don’t or they wouldn’t keep getting nerfed constantly.

I like the direction they are taking. I may not agree 100% with all the proposed changes at the moment, but I am sure they will be tested and tweaked.

The simple truth is that the infinite sustain allowed in the current version of the game is bad for gameplay. By forcing us to now consider sustain more so than before, we now have more important choices to make. Building for 100% damage with no downside will now not (and should not) be possible. Forcing us to consider and pay attention to our resources as we play also adds another layer of challenge to the game, which I believe it needs.

The game is just too easy in its current state, with few choices being needed to be made. Especially for PvE. The direction they are moving will be a positive one. Instead of whining on the forums about hypotheticals, we need to do our part in testing out the changes so that they can tweak the balance appropriately.

Although the changes can still change, isn't the point of test server to test how good the changes are?

I agree the game was better without CP, though we're stuck with it now though.

I think it's a no win for ZoS no matter what they do some group will accuse them of everything from destroying democracy to Kidnapping the Lindbergh baby, and they will work how horrible crown crates are in the rants. best thing they can do is tune out the noise and look whats actually happening during game play.

Morrowind launches soon. For them to make any major and a lot of changes then those would have to be tested, bugs then checked for the changes, make sure those changes have been balanced, etc. If they make too many changes, it would be a huge buggier mess then it already will be. Would maybe even be a bigger disaster. They cant even fix one class defining bug in streak which they have known about for a couple months.

I dont mind giving it a go in trying to adapt to the changes. My main concern is if the game will literally be fun anymore. Running out of resources and hearing that clicky sound is annoying as it is, but if its going to be a way of life, well thats going to diminish the actual and basic "fun" of the game for me.

The armor passive cost reduction needs to come back. reducing that by 33% is ludicrous. simply because we are already taking a hit with CP.

Based on your prior statements OP I doubt your even V160, and thus haven't spent much time on endgame such as trials or VMA, or even done much gear grinding. You also like to agitate.

So your either speaking with lacking experience or doing it for the kek.

The only thing worse than people complaining about patch notes is ... people complaining about people complaining about patch notes.

I especially love the PvP "theorycrafters" who have no idea why PvE players are up in arms, but by golly, they're gonna tell us we're not allowed to criticize!

The meaning of the game is not to count on your calculator your Divine power, how much I killed. Grinders. This game is for the stupid. The game must have logic, a plot, an atmosphere. ... And now idiots are running around in locations, stupidly threshing experience.

Don't worry, I'm sure a YouTuber will show you how to build your character within a week of live. You'll be ok.

I've been here since beta. Did take time off tho. I was playing when V meant Veteran Rank.

And we had to walk to Blue Road Keep, uphill both ways.

I guess now that noone will be able to pull any proper dps, the real troll build will be Nord HP Recovery builds lol.. Just standing there looking people running out of magicka/stamina lol..

I wonder what I will do with my Khajiit Stamblade though. Will probably use Morrowind to level a 3rd character either MagSorc or Warden depending on what I think sounds like the most fun.

@bg22 do you have a rolodex of canned insults to throw at anyone who disagrees with you? I've seen you post this same "liberal arts" thing before.

I still run a stam build in raids every day, and I don't use the 5 x TFS / 3 x VO / 2 x Velidreth meta. I spend time every day poking the target skeleton. I've got my spreadsheets and a rotation I built myself (39.5k self-buffed no ult on the skeleton), and even a little Node app I wrote to quickly compare gear setups. But you know what? I don't know half as much about the math behind the game mechanics as Asayre, and I don't have half of the experience that Jeckll or Gilliam have on stam builds, and I haven't accomplished half of what Alcast and Woeler and the other top raiders have.

And that's OK. It's alright to take advice from people who are better than you or who are smarter or more educated than you. Now that's something they teach you in "liberal arts."
