Why is ZOS intent on driving players away??

Personally I have deleted ESO for over a month now because of the horrible direction the game was going, also the excessive obvious greed over actually making the game better.

None of the much demanded changes were made, but rather more annoying ones and nerfs that no one asked for!!

I came back to check morrowind patch notes to see if the game will be worth playing then only to find that they have nerfed everything and most of all the templar (my main) and none of the elephant in the room problems were fixed.

For example:

1- The trait system is still one trait meta and the others are literally trash.

2- RNG is still a nightmare and no token system introduced.

3- PVE nerfed even more to balance PvP.

4- Still more overpriced houses being introduced along with the already overpriced gambling system called the crown crates that take advantage of people.

5- Not adding 2 free slots with Morrowind for the Warden class so if you filled your slots you better pay 70$ for the expansion to play the warden, also you need to sub for the craft bag so thats another 15$ monthly

But to be fair I wouldnt be spending too much time discussing this if I didnt like the game. This game was my favorite MMO ever and I really like the gameplay and the mechanics, but I got to a point where the annoyances were too much that I had to quit until things were fixed.

Unfortunately for me Morrowind won't be when I come back to the game. I really hope the developers listen to the feedback and actually make changes that people ask for not those changes that who knows where they got it from.

You want to know why? During the test week in PvP Wrobel got beat down and instead of crying like the rest of the PvP players, he is going to change the game.

Yeah, man.. all these talks about more nerfing, preluding to actual release of Morrowind, is really giving me a bad taste in my mouth. Yes, the release is not here yet.. but, when that day comes and all the talks have come to be, then, yes, "see ya, wouldn't want to be ya!" I'm not dropping real money for that.

    Story time:

My uncle owned a very popular dance club. People from all the surrounding area's came to the club and stayed til 4am in the morning. I worked for him as a bartender, and from my point of view he was doing great. Well one day he woke up and had this great idea of turning the club into a steak house and within a year the business went under.

    Moral of the story:

Make changes to the game and not listen to the players then we will leave.

I can imagine Wrobel spamming his poisons on that Stam DK, then the Stam Dk 1vX him and he instantly start writing "fook major mending for dk, fook sustain for those guys and fook them"

This definitely made me chuckle. Something I needed desperately in the midst of all these bs changes.

I agree with your Moral of the story, but.. the Story time, ewww.. a steak house at the same place that was a dance club (I'm assuming also was a strip club.) Not sure how much steam cleaning would ever fix that. Ha ha

$50 (Canadian) for an expansion that doesn't sound much bigger than Orsinium (Battlegrounds and Warden excluded) and all those nerfs is seriously making me question how much longer I want to play.

I love the quests and stories but I don't know how much I can play with all those nerfs. Seems like quests with big bosses will be a pain.

This next patch turns the Meta race into a cash profit for ZO$, but, this is not about regearing an old toon to get 35k dps instead of 25k.

This patch you ate forced to pay $$ to play a Warden, or be subpar at anything else.

No silly, it was not a strip club. It was just a regular dance club. The location of the club was in a good spot, he was one of the few clubs that had a license to stay open and sell alcohol after 2am. Right around 1:30 a.m. the club would be filled with collage students.

Wardens dont seem like meta dps, but every class will be a healer now that shards and repentance are not unique anymore and BoL has become *** and templars lost major mending etc.

However everything in this game has been nerfed into shittyness and everything has become wither annoying or about money

I've been playing WoW before ESO for about 10 years, and seen the same thing happen there with every expansion and patch: people start complaining about the changes, blame the devs. And now the funny part: only 1% actually stops playing, the other 99% go like "oh hey, its not as bad as we thought". So suck it up people! Nothing to see here, so move along!

I've been here since beta. I still love the game and I'm quite sure I will enjoy the hell out of Morrowind! I'd venture to guess that the majority of the player base will not be leaving anytime soon. The /ragequit and "game is doomed" posts generated by something that hasn't even come to pass yet is quite amusing. I guess it speaks to the quality of the game that people who admittedly don't play anymore, still enjoy posting on the forums here...

first you need a developer with more experience, then you need that dev to be capable of listening and not live in a delusional world where they think everything they do is great. it would help if they took their job serious instead of being outshined during ESO live but one of his employees. lol

The problem with b2p/f2p is there is little pressure to keep your subscribers happy like a subscription MMO. They will be alright because they will still have people playing casually while emptying their bank accounts.

I stopped playing WOW because of nerf. Yes I also started to get bored and too much drama in guild but the nerf broke it.
Stopped playing eso mostly because I was bored at vr15.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I'm actually considering re subbing. xD

Honestly, from a PvP perspective, it sounds great to me. We're gonna see players doing something other than stand still and wave their hands in the air. Using unique builds that buff their team mates, using previously unused skills like purge and finding a way to sustain it. Maybe even the use of line of sight?! Everyone is going to feel vulnerable, that's exciting PvP!

Battlegrounds look absolutely awesome but I have just one gripe, no 4v4. It's all 4v4v4. Testing them tonight.

Nonsense! The only possible conclusion based on a rational, logical and clear-headed analysis of the latest changes to the game is that ZOS hates us and wants us to cry.

The idea was to make Warden look good by making all the other classes more bad. However, I think people have been through too many nerfs at this point, and instead of rerolling, this time they will just find a new game.
