I'm on my way to interrupt Solkyn then he like instantly goes from the machine gun to ground AOE while I'm right next to him from the interrupt. There's no time to get out of it.

I need more practice with this stage of the fight, it's just such a pain getting here. I'm sticking to my time limits hard now, it's too frustrating to keep going at it.

This fight take a long time to get used too.

Back when I was first trying to get my first complete, I got to him with like 400 lives. I. Lost. Them. All. What you are going through is frustrating, but pretty much all of us have the same story.

When you get used to the fight, you will actually find it one of the easier ones in the entire arena and wonder how it was that you died so much. As you noticed, there is a lot to look out for here.

Don't be afraid to adjust your build. On the final boss fight these are very helpful to have on your bar:

Gap closer. You are having trouble interrupting the boss. Slot one, it's now a piece of cake. Also, a gap-closer makes the top easier. Are you running Dual wield & bow? Then I'd consider streak.
Rune cage. Respec if you dont have it. Instantly eliminate the healer and the summoner for 30 seconds at a time. Dont damage them. Ignore them completely and removes their mechanic from the entire fight.
DoTs. You have to move around a lot on this stage and DoTs are by far the most efficient means of damage, especially the Crystals at the top.
You don't need AoE.

Use the power sigals. If you are having trouble with the first Cremo Guard, do NOT "save" the sigals for the end. Use either the damage or healing sigal, it will enbable to kill the CG and get the boss down to 70% quick enough (especially since you Rune prisoned the healer .... kill him before you go up).

When you come back down, grab the haste sigal Rune prison the walker. Now it's just you, the boss, and the gold ghosts. You're attention is now foucsed such that you dont get skull attacked and you always get the gold ghosts. Three ghosts always spawn before a CG does so if you get them all you can always spectral explosion the CG. When the speed sigal runs out, grab the defense one.

This threads making me want to back to vMA tonight and stamblade my way through it again for a bit of fun. It's been awhile since i stomped Solkyn's face into the dirt.

@kylewwefan oh man you're so close now don't give up.

I don't know what your dps is like, but in that last phase i can pretty much ignore all the gold ghosts and stuff and focus purely on what skill the boss is using. i usually down him right as the last CG would spawn.

I struggled with the last boss for a good straight 4 hours and it was not being able to interrupt him that got me killed. I remorphed poison injection to venom arrow and it was so much easier. When you do it a few more times and the rest of the fight is easier for you, change it back then.

Just do not venom arrow the argonian behemoth when he's screaming lol. GG if you do.

Also, all I did on last boss was not use sigils until all crystals were broken. Fell down, grabbed them all then straight burnt the boss.

Well last night I respec to Mag Sorc and picked up cheap necropotence gear for test. People were not happy with the pet in vet trial, but we made it through anyways. I gotta figure this thing out before punishing myself in Maelstrom.

DPS dummy showed me having around 18k solo.....with no clue how to really play PetSorc and garbage trait gear. Gotta figure out where to slot execute in here also.

I've gone through a number of sets and re specs....got a master crafter, little gold, 600cp, and YouTube.....I must be straight *** to not be able to beat this darn arena by now.

I am soooo freaking close to beating this blast place. The pet Sorc build is working great or....I might just be getting better at getting to Solkyn Voriak motherbitchface. Still haven't beat him yet, but getting so close.

I don't often make it down from the crystal phase....and something weird is happening when I do, it sounds like my PS4 is getting ready for liftoff. Then it gets choppy. And sometimes unresponsive......WTF ZOS. It must be the RNG machine kicking in to give me a sharpened lightning staff

Learning to persevere and deal with Bethesda shortcomings, and my own.

Got him down to 20k health last night then the deadroth beat me down and this strange delay and 5 seconds later the screen turns blue (x) revive here

After that I lost it and couldn't make it through the crystal phase again. The RNG ghosts swarming Solkyn and I couldn't get a bashwithout taking heavy frost. Very depressing. And the bar would not swap. Agh.

I seem to have better luck with Skoria/necro/willpower than infal and ilambras. Don't know why. The Lightning staff heavy attack just tears stuff up.
