Oh no not Deltia if he is concerned then it must be something.....
Who the puck is Deltia again? Oh a drama queen twitpilot
He also told the crybabies to stop paying for and playing the game, but you won' t listen to that so why listen to this?
Also many of us pointed to ZoS to not give streamers special attention, because crap like this inevitably happens.
Here's my point ZoS isn't the first company to over/under tweak something and they won't be the last, showing your ass like this only cements every negative stereotype people say about hardcore gamers, which blows back on everyone that plays games. How about for once not living up to the stereotype.
I have never seen such hair pulling and teeth gnashing from supposedly grownup people....it's kinda pathetic.
Its not an cash grab, rather the opposite, before the patch it was: cool back to Morrowind, new class, battleground.Deltia was always the voice of reason, talked us down with all the previous patches and showed us the silver lining about the upcoming changes.
He like most everyone hates this patch, realizing is a $$ grab by ZO$.

Well if you stay quietly then it will make it to life for sure.
I'm glad you find classes fun after these nerfs. Guess what? - when you got to love one class - maybe in one year from now and then ZOS hit you with another nerf hammer to accommodate Necromancer class then lets see how you stay quietly then.
The people who doesn't care where this game is going stays quietly. Once you care you cannot stay quietly anymore.
Only meta players want the meta builds, that's not how everyone enjoys the game. There're plenty of other things and aspects of the game and fun.
Like he said, if you don't understand why people are so upset is because you have no idea how those changes will affect the game and you don't care about it.
The people who don't care are the level 40s and cp 100s that stand on the bushes around auridon all day, play music through their headset. It's hurting the people that run dungeons and trials.

That's not what it means.
If you really think everything is fine you're just being selfish, new players, casuals, average players won't even be able to do a vet dungeon if this goes live
Now we are selfish if we dont agree....lol good one.
He's right that if you don't like something, you should speak up. It's still in beta, plenty of time to adjust things. ESO has a history and not all patches were how to put it nicely... optimal. Maybe it could help even more if the feedback was more constructive.
Everybody could see the problem with CP impact on resource management, but the solution should not include taking away resource management coming from synergies or teamplay. Quite the opposite, ZOS should encourage teamplay and skill and create interesting synergies. Instead, they have created a new class with all the possible buffs and made it look pretty by crippling other classes.
Simply put, current classes mixed and matched and needed each other. The warden does not need anybody else. Maybe another warden... that is a wrong direction chosen only to sell more copies.
Right have to agree here, take @MissBizz for instance she has streamed a ton of helpful stuff and is super nice when you ask a question.
All I see him ranting about is CEO's and cash for costumes?

Could it be that people are getting tired of being burned in mmorpgs? I am not saying thats the case here but this certainly looks that way with the patch notes, I doubt you have been burned much instead of making *** poor chilidish judgements then why don't you be an adult and try to understand the situation.

Even I am complaining about the changes... BUT. I'm usually pretty clear that I'm not the person you should be listening to.
As well, I'm making a full valid effort in testing things before I feel I'm allowed to fully QQOh and thanks for the compliment

I like the rational approach Alcast is taking now with a wait and see attitude, the rest of them need to go find their safe space.

I do understand the situation I understand better than you know having consulted in the industry for 25 years before I retired. What people fail to get is none of the decisions made for a patch are arbitrary, developers have a metric crap ton of information and they have the opinion of every armchair developer that has ever logged into their game. A lot of times we can't see what they are looking at in testing, nor can we see what they have planned for the future.
And almost every time no matter what they do some idiot, will jump them with both feet, tell them they are destroying the industry and maybe even make personal threats against them.
They can't comprehend in their small lizard brains that MMO mechanics are fluid, adding even the smallest thing changes everything else and often time the first or even fifth adjustment isn't the right one, but you just can't shut down the game until you get it perfect for everyone, because that is never going to happen.
The games industry has been a crock of poop for a long time.Wifeaggro13 wrote: »All I see him ranting about is CEO's and cash for costumes?
that point is very valid. sorry but the genre has lost its heart and soul. games hold no longevity at all. they are more interested in nerfing the game into easy difficulty Skyrim. making crap they can put in the crown store then repurpose into gambling crates then enriching and expanding their game systems.

Miss Bizz always so reasonable! I understand Deltia's frustrations as well. Im not in that realm currently - Im just trying to think what is good and what is bad, and what is overboard. Some of the changes I think are, when piled together.
ZOS intentions ARE to make radical changes. We would typically give them hell for not doing that. Its nice to see they are brave enough to - the best we can do is provide sensible feedback to guide that and hope for the best. They wont get it all right, but if they get it mostly right they can move the game in a new direction - and I welcome that. I, and many others, do not like the current endless sustain.. which is the issue they are trying to tackle head on.
After thinking things over more, I still want repent to be returned to its unique group play function, and I want shards to still be a unique stam return specific to the class. They can keep orb to be a return for either - but they dont want it to double dip with shards either. The major mending nerf is a thing, but it is getting minor mending in return. The wardens major mending is conditional - which isnt bad (not full uptime like templars previously). They want to take away full uptime it seems on healing, and I like that thought process. The igneous is too much or functionally not well designed. DKs should have more realiable access to it. But like I said - still thinking things over.
Pretty sure templars will retain the unique place they have as healers over wardens for specific burst healing. That is what BOL is able to do, and wardens are not getting that. Its some of the other parts of warden that need to be looked at in my opinion. They should continue to promote teamplay functional - not tear away at the unique features classes have.

This situation isn't forever, no situation in any MMO ever will be.

Some people here suggesting he is acting like a child and it's not a good reason to quit. To say that shows you can't see what the long term problems are here. He has a totally valid point and it's a competely reasonable reaction that MANY share.
As a gamer in this game you invest time and energy into a class, or classes of your preference. If that class gets destroyed while offering you a new different class underneath a paywall that will do what your old class did, that is unfair, inconsiderate, and basically insulting to a player invested in that class. It is also a totally valid reason for leaving the game and seeking a new game. Either way you are being asked to start from scratch in order to have the thing you already had. It's unreasonable.

Sustain needs the nerf but thats about it.
Besides - Deltia is the type of guy that refuses to be wrong. I remember asking about one of his builds during his stream and pointing out some flaws in the set up and he didn't like that at all. Seen him react the same way to others who simply point out inaccuracy in his builds and he won't have it. Guy is a child.

Then you clearly have not seen the industry pull this and continue killing build diversity and among other things because they do not really test to begin with, I never said people should not wait for more notes but if people stay silent then greedy companies will continue getting away and people will not hear the negative truths of the direction of those said companies, sorry but I just disagree with you there but your right no one should say the sky is falling now when we only seen the start oft he patch notes.

Not to mention you see this often with mmorpgs with pve and pvp atleast wow split skills between pvp and pve.
