People have literally complained every patch and were able to adjust. Why are you guys repeating the cycle?

Why are you QQ'ing about the QQ'ing? If I get both my legs amputated, I can adjust, but it doesn't mean I'd like it.

Lololol not wrong but the only class getting hit is Templar, and sustain stuff like Repentance, Orbs and whatever (which isn't even relevant to class)

So Sorcerer or not

DKs are losing a a lot of sustain from the proposed changes at the moment, after already suffering from a lack of sustain to begin with. Without the cost reduction CP's or some kind of reduction to DK skill costs, DKs will very much be in trouble.

Magblades also losing a large chunk of sustain from the Siphoning Strikes changes. Looks to me like it kills off Sap tanking altogether.

So no, it's not just Templars.

ETA: Though I do agree that they needed to rebalancing and nerf sustain in the game in general. Just the current changes really hurt DK and Magblade.

What's really funny is that I've literally used the same Sorc skillbar for PVP *since launch*. Not much has changed to Sorc's fundamental class abilities. And it's been great!

Meh, they aren't going to do *** about it any way. They'll be here on launch day QQ'ing again because they didn't get their way. They will still be playing and/or subbed at the end of the day so meh.

People talk about changes because it's the game they care about (whoa isn't that surprising!?), not unusual.

You see I have three characters.

Stamblade, Stealth archer/onslaught.
"Damage to players from stealth is nerfed"
Character no longer works

Mag-tank-heal-plar.
"Breath of life heals in 180 Cone"
Character no longer works, not to mention likely sustain issues I will have, Although I still have options to deal with that.

Dragonmage, MagDK light armor.
"Sustain nerfs in general"
This character is probably the best off after this, but I will be spending a lot more time at the back of the fight heavy attacking with my inferno staff. I can't use double staff because then I'd have to farm a burning spellweave inferno staff that is just too much of a grind for me. To have my monster set and all 5 piece bonuses I have to run dual wield but I can't heavy attack to gain resources with that.

So the patch changes straight up kill 2/3 of my characters.

I mean I am not particularly invested in the game (6 months or so) I can just walk away pretty easily. But that is terrible for the game...

There is a difference between nerfing strong builds and killing off niche builds and by killing off the niche they hurting the more causal player, for whom max DPS doesn't matter but having thier characters actually be useful does.

There is still time to not go through with this....

The game has gone from being one of the funnest games around to being one of the lamest pvp games I've ever seen, because they have systematically dismantled interactivity, dynamic counterplay, and any use of skill.

It's quite possibly one of the dumbest things I have ever seen, and people need to stop giving them money.

No, but it does indicate that despite the complaints, Zos kind of do know what they are doing. I get the impression that on their internal development systems they did the across-the-board CP nerfs first - then looked at how it impacted individual classes re. their sustain and saw that due to class abilities, some still had too much - so adjusted them individually.

Zos will not have made these changes without putting a LOT of thought into it beforehand, without testing the impact of each before deciding if more tweaking is required, without testing he finished version, and without reviewing all their data extracts before and after the changes. I tend to trust that a lot more than some guy simply reading the patch notes and going ballistic.

Yeah, I knew that was coming. Regardless of which class I play - I just want an interesting, balanced game. This current meta if stacking damage, ignoring sustain and mashing your highest damage skills as much as possible has to go.

I'm not the kind of person who wants my classes to be the strongest.. Hell, I rolled my stamsorc because nobody was playing them - when they were underpowered. I used viper well before that was meta - and added selene too - and Agreed with the proc sets nerf. When Stamsorc was buffed, became stronger and shields were nerfed to 6 seconds and it was the end of the world for magsorcs.. I rolled my magsorc.

Even though people think stamsorc got no nerfs for sustain... we have dark deal... Where do you think the mag comes from to cast that? Its from constitution. How big a nerf is that getting?

btw, my stamsorc is a redguard. I agree with that nerf too.

I'm also surprised to see no substantial nerfs to the magsorc 'pirate skelly' meta - which everyone currently gets salty about - but am expecting them. Even so, I hardly use that set anyway.

Point of this post was, relax because this is PTS Patch 1. If ZOS goes through until the release (which is in like a month and a half), then they **know** they will lose players.
