Ok so here's my main question I have for all our theory crafters

If you haven't read the Morrowind PTS patch notes by now they are here

So essentially what this all boils down to is a Global nerf to sustainability, everything got nerfed. Light, medium and heavy armor. All nerfed on resource management. CP passive and resource regen, completely gutted. And even a nerf to the newly introduced Minor Magicka steal. Worms raiment and the stamina variant were also nerfed.

With so many different nerfs on so many aspects of group play, and the added costs of skills to come it seems that the nerf to Sustainable group play was way over nerfed. With the nerfs to Templars group healing capabilities and resources giving out (with regards to shards nerf) how does everyone plan to compensate if these changes goes live?

Regardless wether you agree with me or not, I'm genuinely curious how trials will be compensating for all of these nerfs combined in End Game settings

This is not a whine thread. I want some serious feedback regarding how people plan to adapt and get ahead of the curve

Trials will go on like normal. For select organized guilds. The kind that kick you mercilessly when you don't listen to raidleader and get called out.

You'd be suprised, those top guild pve'er are 1% of the game's population because the other 99% can't handle being told to improve. Now improvimg will be very, very, very mandatory.

^that's just to get on a team. The l2p is real.

I 100% doubt trials will go on as normal, these weren't the only nerfs, DK tanks got nerfed on blocking, self healing, and resource management as well (helping hands, battle roar) IN addition to all the other nerfs I listed.

There's no way in hell trial groups will be able to
play how we are playing now. There will be massive overhauls to groups. Now that the Warden actually has a chance to be a healer in groups since ZoS epically nerfed the Templar.

I've heard people at the PTS forums are raging about how difficult it is to play trials

Look, you only have infinite resources in trials when group is on point. When synergies are hit, healers know what boss phases burn dps out on resources, dps using shields to not stress the healers, yes, it will be pretty normal there. I'm sure tanks will respec a little. Maybe they'll use witchman. They'll use block cost glyphs and change a few things around.

Inexperienced groups will get less completions. It'll be exactly the same. What WILL change are your odds of getting into a good trial guild. Because the testing pressure/learning the mechanics will be much more stressful. You'd better find a guild now because after morrowind drops you want to be on those experienced groups that tweak with setups/strat. Cuz spamming lfg in craglorn will suck much harder tha it alreads does.

Groups that know wtf they're doing will make a couple small changes and move on.

You do realize they nerfed all forms of group synergies too right? The undaunted passives will return nowhere near what they are now

Any other suggestions on how Dps, healers, and Tanks will be runnin trials now for optimal group play?

If anyone is still around to continue pushing HM end game trials, they will still need the absolute best of the best in every role, healers, dps, tanks etc. That will not change, what is changing is what class makes up those roles after the dust settles from all the nerfs and how much ZO$ props up the the Warden to be superior to all other classes in each of those roles.
