For wasting time writing 100 new message for the hirelings that hardly anybody reads!!! Really!?! Trials have been broken forever with the lag and lockups forcing up to force close multiple times within trials. I can't even do a proper rotation in trials to even be effective half the time. But thank God we have 100 new message for us to not read!! Way to go thankyou for wasting our time with this, truly.

Yes, note that the ones working on fixing bugs are not the same as writing hireling messages.

On the other hand homestead and Morrowind probably put trial bug fixing on the back burner.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

This is one of the few positives in the patch notes.

But wherever there's a bowl of Wheaties, I guess there's always someone eager to pee in it.

I know they're not typically the same person. My point is they've known for awhile trials are broken. They continue to ignore it, or postpone it. Why are they having these people work on things as trivial as this when they could be used testing different patches or fixes or whatever. We've asked non stop foe trials to be fixed and they decide to spend man power on this? Really?

This must be your first MMO as you don't know how things work. There are different teams working on different elements of the game. Also bugs can take awhile to fix as they have to investigate then try a fix but the fix can't break something else. If it will break something else then they approach the bug at a different angle. And they have to prioritize the bugs. Hence why some bugs haven't been fixed.

Nah, I'm not that bored. :D

Believe it or not, people have been asking for this for about two-and-a-half years. It was actually a big deal the last time they added hireling mail content, and people were really excited and begged for more.

Of course, at that time, it didn't accompany a sledge-hammer to gameplay.

Different teams means they can work on different things and they can do it at the same time. Design and content creation takes a different skill set than troubleshooting so chances are the people who spent time on the new messages wouldn't be the best people to be chasing down bugs.

And my favorite message so far is "Here is your shipment. Today in the city, Pacrooti tried molasses for the first time. Surprisingly tasty and sweet. This one thinks he may try some other parts of the mole."

and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

Im confused.. What other "game breaking" bug has a higher priority than end game trial? Veteran Maw of Lorkhaj being the biggest of them all. Well maybe streak bug, but then again.. THEY DIDN'T EVEN MENTION IT IN THE PATCH NOTES.

It's not a matter of different jobs being done by the same person, but the resource being wasted on something useless when they could hire coders to fix the game.

Its interesting that the Trial community feel its the only thing worth bothering about in the game.

The fact that you call the hireling mail's trivial despite several replies saying they enjoy reading them proves my point.

Clearly 100 mails probably took a less technical member of the team a few days to write tops - and bug fixing will be sat with programmers. i'm sure they have not diverted technical resource that could of been coding to write them, so its not like you loose out to their gain.

ESO is a huge game with so much to do, people get precious about their 1% - I get that, but no need to run down others areas.

I would love for the person who wrote them to fix your dungeons and trials.

You do like old school D&D read out loud text right? A long pause before the boss.

The large enemy lumbers towards the group of heroes as they stood ready waiting for the epic final battle.

You are aware on how much content of all sort being included in Morrowind, dialog, quest, books?
The hirelings mails is just one part who don't require the Morrowind install as its far easier to give it to all.
Same as Thief guild gave stuff who don't require the DLC.
