So you can fight an AI whose moves are already predicted?
It just seems strange that people like to play an MMO by themselves or with a very tight knit group, at least fighting players is always a refreshing experience. You'll never know what to expect except for zergs. What is the appeal to being so seclusive?
These players are just like people on a dating site who are in a relationship already..they're just there defeating the whole purpose of said activity.
I have to disagree with you on the very most base premise of your post.CreamedPieYum wrote: »Not to go off topic, but several posts claim to not pvp at all. I mean..why? Can I ask why so many of you dont pvp at all?

Because PvP is the single most miserable experience in the history of gaming. Now back to the topic. Can I ask why so many of you dont pvp at all?

Just because a game is an MMO, does not mean that it is meant to be played in a group or with other people.
Since MMORPG's have existed, the vast majority of people in those games have been Solo players, and those players have grouped up only when trying to conquer Group-designed content, or when they feel that they need a group for some other reason.
Massively Multiplayer Online means nothing more than the fact that the persistent, online game world is shared by thousands/millions of other people. It does not mean that it is supposed to be mandatory that content is played "together in a Group".
That mentality is a new mentality that has only come about in the last four to five years, and it does a very big disservice to the very history of MMO's as a genre.
I for one, do not PvP because IMO (and only in my own opinion), any type of PvP should never have been introduced into MMORPG's. I feel that it is invasive, and forces a mentality of competition on players that is better left to MOBA's and FPS's, but is unhealthy for MMORPG's as a whole, and forces negative change on the PvE aspects of MMO's to try to cater to a super-competitive PvP mentality. But again, that's just my opinion.
But nowhere in the very design and purpose of MMORPG's has the genre ever been about making Grouping mandatory or the sole purpose of MMORPG's.
