Hey ZOS, hey everyone,

Wouldn't it be nice if we could do our own costume ? Once you like your appearance, you save it and pay the fee (gold or crowns) and it's added to your costumes.

It could a simple way for ZOS to make a gold sink or to make profit.

And I'm sure many players would love it (or at least don't care).

To encourage certain behaviors, there could be restrictions, like having to know the styles of the items you want to make a costume from.

What do you think ?

While Zos has gone a different way with designing complete costumes, the best design I have seen was tabs where one could place whatever style they want in each slot and make that their appearance. Additional slots were unlocked with gold or the equivalent of crowns and it costs gold to make changes to a tab. They also sold unique armor shells in their cash shop so there is a major difference. Zos does not sell such things.

With the full costume designs we have in game I doubt this will come about. It would work against the crown store costume sales.

It's not an issue if the costume is made from all the pieces you are wearing.

And it's not against the crown store costumes sales if it costs crowns to make such costumes.

I've already given them every option, including this one, for a way to make our characters look the way we want. It's up to them at this point, all the different options to choose from, hopefully they choose at least one.......

Pretty sure that having it cost crowns would not be a good idea in the long run.. And as @DeadlyPhoenix already said, the community has already posted pretty much every option available as suggestions.. All we can do is wait and see what happens

I would like to be able to craft gear, maybe with some new mat that is only for costumes. I would then like to wear them over my freaking ugly Argonian and Barbaric drop set armors. I want to be able to dye them too.
