Rubberbanding to gain XP. In short, cheating.

ZOS already tried to do something about the bots long long ago by adding anti-bot measures in a patch that caused alot of performance/lag issues.

Bots. There aren't players controlling those characters. They use some sort of program to program them to do that so they can get some free XP for the character without having to be there to control it. Basically, they're depending on other players to do the anchor pinions and whatnot, and get their armor destroyed, while the bot sits there reasonably safely and leeches off other people for free XP. It's annoying as heck. If one of them dies, DON'T resurrect it!

I remember an archer doing this once in Alikr at one of the dolmens. Off to the side, spamming that bow AOE ability over and over again, even when there was nothing there. Likely was using a program, as to use that bow skill, you must activate the skill and then select the area you want the arrows to come raining down in. Staffs you can just hold down the attack button and you constantly do heavy attacks, but for bows, you must let go of the attack button to actually shoot. I wonder if bots are programmed to stay out of red areas, if not, might be possible to perhaps add some new AOE mechanics to dolmens, which at least would disrupt the people that have their attack button taped or weighed down with something. Anyone at the dolmen that tags it for exp credit, may have a small area (1 Meter) under their feet turn red, after x amount of seconds they get effected by a fire based DOT that takes away 20% health every second as long as they stand in the area of effect, easy to avoid if you are actually at the computer. Get killed by this ability x amount of times, and account gets auto flagged for investigation.
