Khajiit Skooma Bubbler

In every cut scene and house I have entered that has this item, it billows a nice smoke plume. However, buy one for almost 300 crowns and nada wisp of smoke. Also no way to interact with it to make it function like lights.

I realize there are more important things to fix in this game, but am totally mystified as to how this could be copied from the in game models, yet not function the same. But, you can purchase a 50 crown Argonian Censer which has a dense plume of smoke.

Just another Tamriel mystery; *Scratches head*

Guess my Khajiit friends won't be getting medicated anytime soon.

I found a fix for this. If you get the Argonian incense burner, you can sink it into a table or counter and then you place the bubbler on top of it. I've done this a few times and it made the bubbler appear to smoke

That's a creative solution (I also use that trick to create a 'steaming bath'), but I really liked the look of the purple smoke. I was pretty disappointed during PTS when I saw the bubblers didn't have that. Still hoping it's just a bug that will eventually be fixed. There's also a High Elf candle (High Elf Candleholder, Sturdy) that is listed under 'lighting' which doesn't light also, so maybe some items are just not functioning properly?

Great minds think alike gangygirl; I also did that however, at first I had the bubbler in my cellar, embedded in the floor with the smoke rising through the bubbler, which was located within an alcove. Guess what? The smoke went through the floor and up to the foyer. I had one of my Daedric pets right where the smoke was emanating and for awhile, I thought I just hadn't noticed that "it" smoked. Moving the pet, I then realized my error heh.

The censer now is embedded under my dark elf caldron and within a fire pit; nice smoky something cooking hehe. Also placed the censor where the plume rises but does not interfere with the upper bedrooms, sheesh what a chore!
