What I love about ESO

I have been a subscriber of the game for 3 years now and as a person whom never had any interest in an MMO before, I am pleased to say that this has turned me around and I am stilling playing almost every day.

The game ( especially the roleplaying community) has led to me meeting so many funny and wonderful people whom I talk to on skype and TS every day. We share gear, help each other learn and complete new and vet content and just hang out playing with the items in our collections.

With the changes that come about with the classes, I am always updating my tank and healer builds or skills in order to make sure they are playing to the best of their ability. I think its refreshing that it's not a simple one and done set up. The challenge makes it so we don't get bored with a stale build that we can just take into any dungeon and succeed. It keeps me on my toes.

I am also happy that ZOS regularly releases new DLC content so we get new items or quests to complete. New adventures and stories to share and appreciate. Finding new NPCs whose quirks make us realize how much creativity went into the development of these storylines. I still remember playing the Gold Coast with my best friend and we both squeed upon seeing an old familiar face return to join us on an adventure.

My group and I are particularly thrilled and counting down the days to Morrowind as most of us play Dunmeri House mer. Its going to open a whole new world to us and what we can do in this game. We all loved Morrowind and cannot wait to return to Vvardenfell to see it portrayed in a whole new light.

Between the costumes, unique mounts, varied personalities and other appearance altering options, it is a game that really does take the considerations of the role playing community to heart.

Does the game have some faults? Sure every game does, but the joy I get from playing with my friends far outweighs any group finder complication.

So ZOS I just want to say my friends and I greatly appreciate all you have done to create an Elder Scrolls world in which we can all interact and grow together. You have made something very special and I plan to be sticking around for a very long time if you continue this trend.

Much love!

There are so many fantastic people here and an enormous community of of helpful players . It is without a doubt one of the best things about ESO . An the good does outweigh the bad , otherwise we would not be here still enjoying ourselves three years later . I agree with you , I love this place . Do we need more ? Of course , we always need more and we are getting more . Soon !

    @gangyzgirl ...great post :)

a blessing to be able to see and enjoy the positives in life...

growing up I was always really good with the whole 'what's wrong with this picture' type puzzles...coming from new york and spending some important younger years in the military simply reinforced that trait...

so glad now to be able to focus on and appreciate what is 'right' with things...

Aside from the odd pleasant interaction with a player, I don't have much contact with other players (outside of the couple of friends I play with). I wish I could meet more people in game, to be honest, just not quite sure how to facilitate that.

I think what I like most about the game is the people I meet.

Yesterday I got in zone chat and asked "Looking for skyreach partner". Someone joined and we instantly became friends.

I've played the game since beta and I can safely say the game has grown for the better so much in the past 3 years. The content they are releasing these days is superb, and there are of course road bumps but every game has those! The community, my friends, my guilds have also made the game a whole lot of fun and I'm looking forward to reliving some of my old Morrowind days from TES3 with the upcoming expansion, but this time I won't be alone in that.

Thank you for making such a positive post among a ocean of negativity, and thank you ZOS for your continued hard work and investment in the betterment of this game and giving us content we can enjoy.

I love that most of the content can be done solo and you can go in whatever direction you want and at your own pace.

I think ESO is the MMo I wanted ever since I logged into the EQ beta all those years ago, for years I kept asking why can't they make a TES MMO or Why can't EQ/EQII/WoW be like Daggerfall/Morrowind/Oblivion

the TES community has always been the best collection of folks (Except for some Skyrim nutters :-P )so it's little wonder out in game community is so awesome.

Folks should also not get discouraged by the forums, the Ocean of Negativity is pretty agenda based (Not that there isn't issues all MMo's/games have them) and happens when low priced keys meet no Forum Barrier.

We have a great MMO and a awesome In Game community, and many many years of fun ahead which is a huge finger to the hate machine.

In fact, it was a little bit frightening, but they fought with expert timing

some of our younger eso players may not be familiar with this righteous NB anthem that adorns your signature block...to which:

There was funky Billy Chin and little Sammy Chung
He said here comes the big boss, lets get it on
We took a bow and made a stand, started swinging with the hand
The sudden motion made me skip now we're into a brand new trip

I actually like the stories and lorebooks in the game. I don't really like to interact with people because of bad experiences, but that doesn't stop me from trying to meet some people, and hopefully it won't end bad for me again.
Overall I like the storyline in this game!

I like that it's elder scrolls themed and the only good mmo on console. If I had pc though there's another mmo I would probably like more then eso.
