Or getting on a boat in Wayrest/Woodhearth/Windhelm after following the directions in the Adventurer's Almanac that there are "bounties and all sorts of other odd jobs" there. The city, the delves, and the group bosses have nothing to do with the Thieves Guild, and you shouldn't be forced into getting the skill line just because you're there for the completely unrelated side quests and activities. The only in-game reason for going there is that a thief from the local thieves guild invited you there, or that you was thieving boxes that was not lawfully yours.
At what point is taking RPing to the point of it becoming nonsensical and more about simply being OCD?
are you kidding me, out of all the things in this game to complain about this is what you complain about?!? a single line of text in a skill menu that if youre really roleplaying doesnt exist. can any other roleplayers please let me know who you are so i can put you on ignore too

Don't be fooled, myself and my entire guild of roleplayers are currently in discord sharing a good laugh about this one. Reading stuff like this makes me want to troll rp'rs...and I'm one of them.

Ooc/IC, separate the two and enjoy the full game. You don't have to incorporate in game mechanics and questlines into your roleplay.
