I prefer my templar because I played that the most and I am a loyalist but sorcerers are the go to class at the moment both for stamina and magicka if you want to DD i PvE or be competetive in PvP.
I'll go with the Dragon Knight, because its made to tank. And, in the game, that's mostly what I do. lol
Holy cow @Heike - how did you even find this thread...
I was on my 4th finger of tequila and feeling nostalgic. lol
( I was actually searching for DK threads, for build comparisons, and ran across this gem. Kinda cool how it could be resurrected. )

A year ago I would have said Templar, but for me, it is very overplayed now... It is pretty much all I have played since a few months after release and after switching back to my first character, which was my sorcerer, about 6 months or so ago, as well as going back to my 2 Nightblades recently too, who were neglected for a long time. I am not sure I will ever go back to maining a Templar again. It could well be that I just became bored with it after playing it pretty much every single day for 2 years, a change can be refreshing sometimes
This does make me think about my 6 Templars all sat there not being played right now. I think a couple of them may have to die to make way for something new.....

Exactly why this thread's relevance, though despite a necro and a self bump... (gr), will be completely null and void soon.
The OP didn't self-bump. Scroll up; I found this thread and commented on it, after a long night.
As for it's relevance, I find it interesting to look at what people stick to, in terms of character play and "how" they build; gear first, or points first; do they venture out into new combos, or roll their face on the keyboard, when learning new challenging classes.
It isn't always just about "new crates," so to speak. And nor is it always centered around meta.

cuz I like to run up too the biggest baddest guy in the room, b*tchslap him in the face and yell "COME AT ME BRO"
templar works also pretty good for this setup
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly
I was born with the wrong sign
In the wrong house
With the wrong ascendancy
I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique
Templar (magika). I like his jack of all trades potential (3in1 hybrid build), even if it's master of none... Kinda boring to play a character with only one role.
