Since 1T, does the zone not matter anymore for the spawn points of certain generals? Do all generals have a chance to spawn at any dolmen now?

Yes but in cyro the chance to see a boss is 10% the other zones have a lower chance

In some obscure post somewhere a zos person stated that there's an increased chance of a general showing up that isn't already in the achievements of those present at the dolmen.

So the best way to get this achievement is to go to cyrodiil and do dolmens out in the middle of nowhere alone, so that only your achievements count.

It's way, way faster than it used to be.

Of course, this title now is recognized as the "baddie CP 480 player who heavy attacks and uses skills" title as all those grinders who never learned how to play have this and seemingly no other title nowadays

I'm trying to get all of the titles in the game and clean up some old achievements that I've missed out on. I don't really care what others think of the title tbh.

The chance to get a specific General does depend on if you have not gotten that General yet. You do not need to be out in Cyrodiil chasing this achievement. I have pulled 5 to 6 Generals in a dolmen rotation in a couple of hours in Malabal Tor. I have gone from no generals to gaining the achievement in a few hours in the insane Alikir Zerg.

Now, my first two characters took 3 years, wait, my very first character still needs one more, to get Lord Slayer. My last leveling character got it in one day. So, this has now become a garbage achievement. Before, when Dolmens popped when ever they felt like it, and this was typically 20 to 25 minutes apart, it was a true accomplishment. Then we had dolmens that were on the same 20 to 25 minute timer, but would pop as soon as you approached. But with the Witches Festival (maybe it was OneTamriel not sure), dolmens were put on a 4 to 5 minute timer and we have the mess we have now.

While we have a quick way to level a gimped (only 64 skill points) character to 50, ZOS has diluted this achievement to nothing.

Meh. I don't really care if people think it's too easy or a garbage achievement. It's just another collectible for me at this point.

I'm just mocking the baddies who did nothing but grind and are now polluting everyplace I go.

Cyrodiil was always the best place to get this achievement, but unlike in the past the generals aren't tied to zones which was a major pain.

When I grinded this (back when veteran ranks were around) I counted a general every 3rd-4th dolmen. Don't know if that helps you

I did Deshann loop last night about 5 times, or 15 dolmens. I got 3 new generals and 2 doubles so the drop rate seems good. I did notice they weren't dropping from the right zone which prompted me to ask here.

Got Deadric Lord Slayer before I was lvl 45 farming dolmens in Auridon

Lol, someone has an awfully high opinion of himself. Why would grinders for an obscure achievement be polluting every place you go. I don't worry about baddies in trials or vet dungeons. Where is this mystical place that baddies go that so annoys fake elitists?
