I was going after a Treasure Map and didn't realize there'd be a mini-boss there (wasn't on the map). I was fighting hard, but really doubt it I could've finished it on my own. A CP 200+ was passing by and stopped to lend a hand.
I generally keep my Zone Chat window off, but I made sure to thank them for the assist!
Quite a while ago, during a heated argument in zone chat in Craglorn, another player shouted "I give 50K gold to the player who provides the best reason for giving him the money". I answered "You don't need the money!". 5 minutes later I received the 50K gold via mail. Apparently I gave the best answer. Coincidentally I was the only player bothering to answer his question.
(Shamefully I have forgotten the name of that kind player).
De-crafted some armor that I wanted to keep that was blue, I ended up telling a friend online who ended up telling a crafter, the next thing I knew I had mail with the whole set crafted to purple I sent him some gold but he sent it back and sent me an email saying enjoy haha!

There isn't one incident or event that stands out, but i've had a few occasions when people have been kind enough to pass on their knowledge, tips and tricks.
Group of three people from some guild blitzed me through vWGT.
I was the healer, but I barely had to throw off a heal during anything other than the Clivia and Planar fight. They didn't get annoyed when we wiped a couple times on each boss while I got the mechanics down.
really should have taken down their names and guild lol
Day 1 was told to start research early for crafting. As such was a master crafter or close enough come homestead.
Didn't kick for wearing heavy amour as a healer.
Saved me in banished cells when all tanks left....I think this was my first pledge or something, but honestly that tank became my best friend as be his truly peaceful to be around. also bared with me as I learned to be first class healer. I suppose this kindest thing someone ever done for which is he became my friend.
Overall I just like the people, even the trolls in elden root, as they once had everyone dancing.
P.S letting my non meta self heal in all veteran trials @Alvin_Azure. I will never forget such a gift and invite this sorcerer healer back time after again
I can't think of one experience but I've had a few. My guild is very helpful and we make it our mission to help people gear up for and enjoy PvP. Kindness like that reaps its own rewards.
Apart from a few trolls and some QQ babies the ESO community is a great community and I have enjoyed reading these random acts of kindness.
Keep them coming.

When I picked the game back up last September, my friend who stopped playing logged back in and gave me every thing he had, which included 250k ish gold, gold mats inc. perfect roe a couple of recipe fragments and a s**t ton of other crafting supplies.
Difficult to choose a "kindest". Plenty examples comes to mind.
1. High CP healer getting a bad PUG group - he sat it out and carried the group. It must have been so frustrating for him, but he did it.
2. Guild mates answering the "please help, I'm stuck in..." calls, typically in Craglorn with some of its group content.
3. People willing to part with drops in dungeons or trials, without asking anything in return. I think most of us do that, byt still nice to see.
4. High CP players helping out with WBs. No need for them, chances are that they've gotten the achievement ages ago, and e.g. Auridion's bosses doesn't exactly have BiS drops.

Not elite, not the best. Just enjoying ESO.
Not the worst either. "Casual" != "totally ignorant" @taciti
I have this one friend.....cant really remember how we met but we met somewhere in the daggerfall zones and he has been helping me ever since crafting purple quality gear helping with vet dungeons etc he recently crafted a frostcaster bow for me and he didn't want anything for it
We have a awesome community overall. Yes there are a few LoL tards who try to create toxic situations, but the GM's have been good about banning especially the console versions of the game.
I think as time progresses that will drop off and ESO will have the western equivalent to the FFXIV community.
Well when i started playing the game on pc for about 3months ago, i was crying about i could never afford the Xivkyn polymorphs, a guy gave me one and im greatful and even today im still using it everyday.
Now im trying to get the Augur x)
