I have a level 50 plus character and have been creating new characters using the shared CP's. My question is if you have two or more level 50+ characters do new characters get the CP's from both or just the one with the highest number?

JUst 94, the account total.

example:
character 1, lvl 50, 100 cp
character 2, lvl 49, 100 cp

when 2 becomes 50, he will still have the 100 cp and start to increase the account total, thus when he gains champion points, it will look like:

character 1, lvl 50, 101 cp
character 2, lvl 50, 101 cp

creating a third character will also link to the account total thus:

character 1, lvl 50, 101 cp
character 2, lvl 50, 101 cp
character 3, lvl 1, 101 cp

Once you reach cp X with any char those cp points automatically transfer to all other chars

Champion points are account wide, so there is no character "with the highest number". When one of your 50+ characters earns a champion point, it gets added to your account total, and thus to all your characters.

You only have one cp in your Account.
If your First char is cp 94 and you make a new char and Level him to 50, he will become cp94 immediatly. And when your New char gets more cp your old char gets them too

Does this mean my new character would get 94 cp from both players (188 total) or just 94?

No. CP is account wide, meaning as a point is earned by any CP toon, each other toon can go into their CP tree and place that point wherever. All CP level toons can earn points (non level 50's don't).
