Trial finder in Morrowind?

I wonder if they will add a Trial finder section to the dungeon finder in Morrowind... I would use this all the time.

    I hope they never do.

Imagine all the whining and complaining about people not being able to PUG the new trial vHoF or vMoL.

Then more nerfs will come, and make everything pointless.
98% of the game is already ridiculously easy and on par with the tutorial.

Could only allow to use the finder for normal.

Trial finder was already in the game and pulled just before or around the removal of vet ranks because they had to rebalance all the items (or something, I don't recall). Even back when the Activity Finder was absolute rubbish, I managed to get both Craglorn Vet clears on my toon. I mean, people might have been a bit better turned to endgame content then, but that's just a baseless supposition. In any event, it worked, and worked well enough.

There's absolutely no reason why normal trials shouldn't be on Activity Finder--with stricter CP requirements. It would only benefit the raiding community by getting people interested in the content, for which a SORELY NEEDED @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_GinaBruno LFG panel would suffice. See FFXIV's numerous grouping feature sets and just copy those. No shame in replicating a fantastic system.

    It could work but...

    1. First ZOS needs to fix one group finder, before starting working on another one.
    2. Person who queues for trial needs to have certain achievements completed, for example if you wanna queue for HRC, you need to have "HRC completed" achievement, also if you queue as DD you need to have "Trial Damage Dealer" achievement (similar with tanks/healers)
    3. It should work only for trials on normal mode.

Nope pls not, ppl still mark themself as dd,tank, heal, to get fast a grp via dungeon finder, using this for a trail finder -> ....
    Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

Less issue as trials has 2 healers, 1-2 tanks and the rest dps.
In fact it might easy be the tanks and healers who end up waiting.

But yes it should be achivement requirement, having done the raid and having some other veteran dungeon or raid achievements
Healing and tank reqirment is that they know a bit about healing or tanking in raids.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Seems like a terrible idea to me. What if new people want to get into trials and they dont have a team to do it with, then group finder on normal is great for them. The raiding community is already small, how does implementing something like that help?

There should be requirements I agree, but what? CP? Dungeon achievements? It is kinda hard to make requirements for that imo because when do you know someone is capable or ready to do trials?

    I hope they do.

I've been trying for WEEKS to get a group going for VDSA.

I've asked for LFG in Zone.
I've posted for LFG in these Forums.
I've posted in third-party LFG sites.

    Nothing.

    For weeks.

All I want to do is vDSA, and nobody is biting. I'd love to PUG it, but the current Group Finder doesn't allow for that. While I usually only ever play Solo, I realize that it is by my own personal choice and a hefty amount of Real Life circumstance that causes me to play Solo, but I'd still LOVE to tackle challenges like this.

Why ZOS is hamstringing players like this, I'll never know.

I'd recommend finding a guild to do this. There are plenty of casual, like-minded guilds that take players to do trials and other group oriented stuff. My trade guilds even have trial events for anyone that is interested.

    Just a suggestion.

A good idea actually, especially if you want a fast PuG for a normal armor and weapons farm run. But IMO should only include the normal version.

    There's my irony though.

I run a Guild for Solo Players. We come together for "Weekend Dungeon Runs", so that Solo players can finally tackle some of the Group content, yet the draw of the Guild is that they're not ever spammed to group, nor do we push third-party sites like Facebook, nor do we force them to sit and languish in Guild Chat when all they want is peaceful runs of their Solo content.

The whole Guild I designed to be a refuge for the Solo player, where they can utilize our bank for items that they may need or for research, and they can sell the stuff they find while out wandering.

The downside, is when I want to run tougher content like vDSA, I'm typically left out in the cold. Irony is beautiful in all its forms. :D

But I hear what you're saying. I may find a Guild for just that run of the vDSA. But I'd still like the Trials like DSA to be in the Group finder. It would be so much easier than what I'm currently going through.

@Uriel_Nocturne I do agree, a group finder for trials would help more people get to experience trial content. Those arguing that PUG dungeon finder groups are bad, cancerous, etc could just not use the tool. More options for players to experience content is a good thing in my opinion, however, I hope the current implementation has its bugs worked out before another one is created with similar headaches.

Honestly this needs to never be a thing b/c a large percentage of those groups would be unsuccessful and cause people to whine and complain about the trials being too difficult/various classes & abilities being under powered.

I know I'm probably regurgitating a lot of the other replies, but that's my thought on the matter.

98% of the game is already ridiculously easy and on par with the tutorial.

This is what happened with vet dungeons. "Too hard" for lfg. I would like to see a normal trial finder since those are pugged very often, but not vet

Honestly, I have to say that even groupfinder might not fix your problem. vDSA is not easy. It is especially heavy on the tank and the healer. Last boss is all about how good the tank and the healer are. With low DPS vDSA becomes a nightmare for them. Even though I have experience tanking vDSA I would never try it with a PUG. We have a shortage of tanks/healers in vet dungeons so why do you think people will go queue for vDSA which is significantly harder than FG1? The end result will be a bunch of groups which are completely unable to get a clear. Because all good tanks/healers already have reliable guilds and groups to run with. People will start to whine and vDSA will be nerfed... I don't think this is something we all want.
