Will there be a Console Closed Beta for Morrowind?

I saw recently that there will be a closed Beta for Morrowind Content.

They commented that it will be a Closed Beta similar to that on console pre launch.

Does this mean there will be invites sent to console players for a closed Beta?

I sure hope so but sure doubt it too....

Normally, the consoles don't have access to PTS shards (as I understand it), so probably not.

For this I think they should. Releases on the same day and I'm sure us console players can give just as good feedback as PC players.

Either way, everything will be broken when the Morrowind update hits:
- Battlegrounds grouping tool
- New Trial
- Old Trials
- Pretty much everything else lol

Na dude. Of course not. Pc players test all those prominent bugs for us. Prepare to get rekd the moment you install it. 1m gold to everyone in the guild says we get grief just logging in on the day.

Console players have access to PTS on PC. So it's possible that console players could be invited to the PTS.

Beyond the part where a second game needs to be downloaded, there are additional considerations required for a PTS on the consoles since both are on environments Zos does not control.

Agreed, and test servers need to be capable of having emergency or even routine patches applied very quickly without having to send the coding with full explanations in triplicate to the console provider 3 months before it can be authorised

and this is probably the biggest reason Zos will not put a PTS on the consoles. The lack of access for Zos makes the PTS less of a benefit for them and more of a headache.

It's a shame that we are accustomed to expecting a window to be fixed and 3 doors to break.

Most of the community has already quit due to the breaking of Trials with Homestead anyway.

Installing the PC version just to play PTS is a bit much although you're right it is an option.

A lot of the end game trial community has on Xbox.I think it hit the EU community harder which has a smaller player base then other platforms.

Sure, console players may be invited, but they'd have to test on PC, not console. They also stated that the people they are inviting have participated in previous PTS tests and were selected based upon their feedback.

No because it requires the base game
Consoles can't have PTS therefore we wouldn't have a beta......unless this was a new game but it's not, it's an add-on to ESO so it's dlc.

Yup PvE is dead and it makes me sad.

Breaking vMOL again seems to be the straw that broke the ESO back
