You are just throwing assumptions through the room. Good Marketing is always based on analysis, and guess what - data is an essential aspect.
It seems like you are a typical ***-talker. Whichever company that hired you as their Marketing Expert is definitely going to have some bad sales next quarter.
It is really sad how you have to fight a war for your platform. It always comes down to preference and both platforms will have many jerks (like you btw) and many nice players of any age.

So to the OP, just pick the platform you are comfortable with. Both have advantages and disadvantages.. it really comes down to subjective preference.

FlyLionel✭✭✭✭@blaineswing_ESO I play on ps4 and the population is great, PVE and PVP are good. Only problem would be certain alliances having consistent domination on a server. Ep in haderus was steamrolling everything last time I checked. Also there has been a surge of new players banding together making super friendly guilds everyday its refreshing. PC is the better platform though. Population should be the same for PC but we are talking about consoles, ps4 does not have many Mmo's and good ones at that so I can tell you that it would be likely console in general has the higher population/casual counts=alot. Also I have met many caribbean players and people internationally in those lower developed countries and I can say that getting a console was just simple and their only option really. Updates and PTS while having amazing sensitivity to do 360 executes on PC though..lucky.

✭✭✭✭✭I think the reality is more players are on console than PC... reason being, consoles are more readily available financially whereas PC systems tend to cost more and playing on PC doesn't appeal to a majority of the gaming population.
Plus, PC gaming typically requires much more tech savvy whereas consoles are simple plug & play technology, which further reduces the PC gaming population.
However, none of this means there aren't robust populations on all platforms. PC population is booming, so even having less PC players than consoles doesn't mean the population isn't high.
If you are just starting out, you should choose the platform that best meets how you like to play. PC offers addons, which for me was HUGE, and the main reason I opted to play on PC; I have a PS4, but I play ESO on PC.

I seriously hope you have a back up to being a 'marketer' as your assumptions are ridiculous.
Whilst I am aware that anecdotes are not data, most adults (over 30 s) I know play on a console, usually because they also have children who game, and few csn afford gaming pcs / laptops for all.
You might just be surprised at the demographics of who actually plays eso on consoles.

✭I play on pc and ps4. Been on pc since summer of 2015. Ps4 since February. Didn't intend on playing on console but made the mistake of looking up how much eso gold edition cost and well I'm weak.lol not going to sub though. Nope no sub for console.
I do prefer pc version as it has addons and I do sub. Playing without the crafting bag is not fun lol..how did I play for a year without it?0
