✭✭I apologise for all the bad thoughts I was thinking about whoever I bought mine off, seems like they could have listed something totally different in good faith based on these posts!
This seems like quite an impor6ant one for ZOS to fix so lets open betting - partial fix with Morrowind?2 -
VoiDGhOs7✭✭✭✭Just got a reply back from Customer Support on my ticket for this issue. They are aware of the problem, and say not to buy writs from Guild vendors until it is fixed. Moving ticket up to next support level. (Keeps fingers crossed!)
But what will happen to the players who have the quest in their journal?Is it going to get fixed or what?0 -

Tillalarrien✭✭✭Same here, happened yesterday. Cant really say when since i wasnt paying attention to writ specific since i was just selling it by default, but writ was defenitely not Deadly Strike. Anyhow at one point perspective buyer alerted me writ is now saying its to craft Deadly strike... I already sent in a bug report: 170209-002265.
I hope this gets fixed sufficiently fast since writs are the things currently driving high-cost ecenomy - specially bigger ones..

✭Alchemy Master Writs is a tremendous waste of time. Some of the traits of the reagents, "coincidentally" those we rarely use, have different names of those listed in the Writ's description. It's not rare to waste like 15 minutes studying and combining reagents (most of the time wasting them - specially reagents that don't drop in most locations) to finally get the right combination and get pathetic 2~5 Vouchers for the effort.I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian, I am the very model of a Scientist Salarian.0 -

This is happening in the traders themselves. I wasnt sure until just now. I listed several of these last night in my trader (PC/NA, trader in Rawlka) and this morning they are now ALL deadly strike. I am 100% sure they were not deadly strike when I listed them.
This is such a serious issue. Please can we get an ETA on a fix? Should we simply stop listing them in the meantime? Please tell us something.

That's actually the very first bug I ran into on the PTS. I also later had it work after a subsequent patch fixed it. Odd that the bug returned.

You got a deadly strike writ today? How? Did you buy it in a trader or from someone in chat? I am not aware of them dropping this way, just converting when in a trader. That part should have been fixed. There are certainly people selling the bugged ones, but I think its important we are clear how you got it. If you bought it, well, you are going to have to wait for the fix. If it dropped that way, then we have another problem...0 -

OK. I just ran into this -- master writ reward from daily alchemy. Can we fix this please? This thread was started in February (2017) and it's June 2018.
