Can't see my armor/costume at dye stations

I'm on PS4 NA. Any dye station I go to does this. I activate the dye station (X) and the camera pans right and once it stops my character is no longer in focus.
It is very frustrating that I can only see what the dye really looks like on my armor/costume if I apply changes (square) and exit the menu (circle).

It's been there and just left since console release.
