Alchemist Crafting Writs and Treasure maps

Please please please for the love of god mix things up a bit with the Alchemy Reagents required for the daily crafting writs. I do the dailies on 9 characters, and each of them uses 3 Nirnroot a day. That's 27 a day, or 189 a week. And I'm sorry but I just don't find enough Nirnroot to cover this.
Also isn't it about time Treasure Maps were updated? The loot found in them isn't even worth the time it takes to locate them. Add some Motif pages (or complete Motifs) or some better set drop pieces please. Perhaps include an achievement or some sort of bonus to make them worth while to do again.

✭✭Yeah what is with it being nirnroot all the time after the homestead patch?
It used to change what alchemy mat you needed, corn flowers, water hyachinth, bugloss etc.
Can we go back to that?

It has been almost always nirnroot for more than 2 years. Sometimes water but rarely. I remember at least as far back as 2.0 that I would do a run for nirnroot every day to try to keep up.1 -

✭✭A mix of reagents would be nice, I do writs on 8 characters and it requires that I go nirnroot farming every few days - wasting 30 minutes of my precious time
(I have my own reliable nirnroot farming circuit). Australian on PS4 NA server.

why the heck are surveys all over tamriel? Wasn't it easier when it was just wrothgar or craglorn.

My opinion on treasure maps- receiving them in general is all too common and the items contained within are typically worthless and rarely worth the time and effort. Who would even bury/hide such items? Then give away the map to sooo many places, to sooo many people?
They (the maps themselves)- should be a random drop, by difficult world bosses; or vet group dungeon bosses. The contents of the chest- should contain legendary items occasionally, or often. In current standing- treasure map drops are as common as a grocery list that's been thrown away, and about just as valuable too.PC/NA, DC - CP861 - StamDK (PVP), MagDK (PVE), and Tank2
