So, I have a summon spell, which is slotted for one of my weapons...but to access a second hot bar, I need two weapons and ...assuming I'm doing it right....whenever I switch to the second bar, the little guy despawns. So, to keep a summon up. I need to commit a slot in both weapons to keep my pet? Is that right?

    The pets' themselves function fine on PC, not so much console with the lack of the command button (default: [Y]+ Mouse_L/R click), and their active abilities perform quite well.

    Having them active is the biggest issue regarding them;
    • they have to be double slotted (triple with overload),
    • they make combat feel repetitive,
    • you are encouraged to slot other pet related skills to micromanage them and optimize their capabilities, otherwise, there is redundancy,
    • and their passive attacks do not scale with CP, regardless of CP allocation (spell power is reasonable, but for them to not scale gives little incentive to "improved" around a system designed to progress character development, which is just idiotic), this also applies to pets that proc off of gear, outputting the same while the tooltips update giving false information.
    Morrowind will feature new updates, as for what is known now, heavy attacking a target will taunt/agro/command, whatever, your pets to attack that specific target if and after they finish whatever passive attack they are performing (actives do not count).

    Yes certain skills, summoned pets included, need to be double slotted to maintain their effect when you swap weapons.

    For sorcs, things like Bound Aegis, Inner Light, Volatile Familiar, Twilight Matriarch, etc ... all will be automatically deactivated if you swap to a skill bar that does not have the relevant skill slotted.

    Thanks, I'm trying to work out a system to my spells that either doesn't miss the pet half the time or is in both weapons but I switch out slotted spells whenever I finally get brave enough to group :)
