Thank you.

No. Morrowind falls under their new update model called Expansions rather than DLC.

Expansions must be purchased separately either via the ESO Account Store or from a retailer.

There will be one expansion per year now, which will have to be purchased in this way, three DLC's which will be free with ESO+.

ZOS are currently looking at other benefits for ESO+ to make up for the loss of content which comes with it each year.

Thank you for that very descriptive explanation.

    Have a nice day.

    It's actually called a chapter
So we assume if no dlc is added to the Morrowind Chapter, eso plus will give you 2 dlc at most a year until this model is changed.....prob ....

We have no information if the 2 dlcs are crown requirements or not so it's pending a revised eso plus benefit structure

What I have gathered is that Morrowind will continue the story of the main quest. Where DLC are have a self contained story and are really not affected by anything else and do not affect anything else.

No, the storyline of Morrowind is completely separate. No Prophet, no Daedric War (although there may be passing references to the latter). For new players, it will also actually come before the main quest of the base game, so certainly isn't a continuation.

We do have information on ZOS's planned release schedule. This was outlined in the 2017 "year ahead". From now on:

Quarter 1: a DLC release that will be open to ESO plus members

Quarter 2: an expansion "chapter" featuring a major new area and activities. These cost to upgrade and may not be accessed with ESO plus or purchased w crowns.

Quarter 3: a dungeon based dlc open to ESO plus members.

Quarter 4: a content based dlc open to ESO plus members.

During ESO Live they confirmed they will give ESO plus members access to thenQ1, Q3 and Q4 DLC releases.

What's missing is what doesn't require morrowind but will be covered under eso Plus in addition to what changes are coming to eso Plus this summer/fall.

You can't assume what was announced is covered as they've announced later changes are coming to eso Plus and we have no info on what happens if dlc falls in Morrowind

Will any dlc be outside of crowns or free like housing.

That is true...they can always make changes. I was just conveying for those who might of missed it that they've affirmed twice on ESO Live that the plan is to provide the three DLCs for crowns / plus membership.

I think they also said that the Q1 update might also include large new system rollouts (like homestead, the justice system, etc).

For me personally, if we get three DLCs delivered on time I'll feel okay maintaining my ESO plus with the craft bag, crown stipend, etc. But just barely. Something that might "sell" me would be if month we got a grab bag with some GOOD (even older) possible draws. I'm skeptical of the "dungeon" DLC. Shadows of Hist was not what I'd personally consider a good value. I'd like to see them take dungeon design to the next level all around.

I have never played an MMO with these 'expansions' before. I have ESO downloaded to my PS4, no disc. If I buy the disc or DL it from the PS store, when I load up Morrowind, will I still be able to travel to Auridon for instance and interact with players that are not playing Morrowind? Or will you be on a different server if you are playing Morrowind? I am just confused as to how this will work. If I buy Morrowind, do I load it up and the ESO that I have on my PS4 is irrelevant now?

Morrowind is a separate zone. If you own Morrowind you can access all of the original Tamriel zones except for the DLC areas unless you buy the DLC or have ESO+ subscription.

When in One Tamriel areas, you will be in the same server as those without Morrowind. But, when you travel to Vvardenfell it will be only for those that bought Morrowind.

You will launch the same game to visit all zones. If you buy Morrowind I believe the base game will be renamed to ESO Morrowind.

Ok makes sense. I am going to buy it for a buddy so he can play and I just wanted to make sure he has access to everything. So we should be good to go. Thanks.
