Very few houses have separate rooms.

Only ones I can think of are:

    - Large inperial
    - Large Dunmer
    - Medium Dunmer

Nord medium/large and Dunmer and Breton manors have a master bedroom, but that's theit only separate room.

A prime example of Dunmer superiority over the lesser races.

I wish there were an Altmer Manor too! Khajiit is great for those who like that style, but it's kind of odd to me that the AD manor wasn't Altmer... Large Altmer buildings in the game (yet none that we can purchase) have separate rooms too, well, some of them do

I think while it would have been cool to get an Altmer style manor and the Kinlord/Kinlady title, it would have been extraordinarily inconsistent with altmer culture and lore. They're extremely hierarchical and social mobility is non existent. If you aren't born noble, you don't get to be a noble and a non-altmer purporting to nobility is just not happening.

So ZOS went with Khajiiti Manor and title as its a somewhat looser culture.

That said, Mathiiesen is a manor in all but name. It's gorgeous and has a nice layout with a lovely garden!

Mathiisen Manor does have a nice garden, but I really dislike the house... Before pts, it was the one that I wanted, 100%, I didn't even consider other options, but when pts went live and i visited it and began working on it, I was so disappointed it was unreal. There are literally no rooms upstairs, just a corridor of doors, and downstairs rooms are bordered by a strange raised platform that makes it impossible to place larger pieces of furniture against the wall unless you put them into the middle of the room or don't mind them clipping through the floor or floating slightly in the air

I really wanted an 'Aldmeri Dominion' style house, but never mind, some of the others, like strident springs and hundings, are wonderful alternatives  I just won't be buying a manor (though to me they all look like banks anyway, the larger homes are much prettier and more functional imo  )

Without draggin my thread completely of track, seeing as we are all voicing our own 'House that got away' (Which is really a shame, because some pretty cool things could have been made with these houses), merely to conclude, I personally do not feel like buying a home yet, despite my insane amount of housing blueprints so and so, merely because seeing as Zenimax has yet to confirm which houses we can expect as the hopefully next ones, I would rather not waste my ingame gold or my real money for crowns.

I am stubborn with this manor, but that is because this manor just has rooms, it has a perfect size, there is the oppertunities for having perhaps a garden around it and I see many wonderfull options with it and I personally just have plenty of ideas that I feel many has with housing, yet we have yet to be able to live out these ideas in our lovely eso.

Also to live this briefly up again, I had a talk with a costumer support briefly saying the have read this and would be discussing this.

Then again, it could aswell be a standard answer, yet I will take it as a hopefull sign that they will add new houses, perhaps limited editions or who knows what (Likely not.). I would just love for more options, especially with the fact so many of the houses are basically the same with an addition of few rooms such as basement or somenthing..

Agreed. The lack of rooms is in so many of the houses is why I still haven't purchased any of them. The single home I was most eager to own, the Ebonheart Chateau, has one actual room in the basement. Deal killer.

Fingers crossed for some actual rooms in upcoming homes to be added.

Isn't there one home styled after the house in the Vile Manse public dungeon in Reaper's March? That one has separate rooms.

It has seperate rooms, yes. Yet the room is not "that big" in size. It has a giant lovely garden, very much. With small rooms inside and a lack of an upper area. Aswell as they removed the fireplace? Why even?

In my opnion, I just believe there is a lack of room and I still find the Manor upon my screenshots once of the better chances they have at giving their players a truly satisfying house.

Yes it's in Arenthia and it has three rooms upstairs and one downstairs off the main room. You have to own the Imperial Edition to get it though.

Ahh, that's it. Someone did mention Imperial houses as an exception already too, sorry.

True, the rooms do appear very small for the most part. I agree there's not a house that satisfies both requests.

I fullheartedly agree with you OP! I'v found myself looking in both the large Breton houses in Rivenspire and wishing one of those were for sale. (OF course the interior would need to match the exterior, unlike the one in Fell's Run. lol.).

I did purchase the Ravenhurst and I love that home, but I do wish for a much larger version with the seperate rooms. (Though I was creative and was able to create semi seperate rooms in it).

But it would be really nice to have a Breton Manor Estate with a large outside like Serenity Falls has, and a stable/barn so we can do a lot with the outside in addition to the inside.

I'm saving up my gold and keeping my fingers crossed. It would be the only one I would even consider paying Crowns for.

I know we have the chance to make rooms in the already existing houses, but it takes away a lot of the slots for other furnitures, merely to build somewhat fitting walls which, let us be honest, never truly matches the house anyway.

In general I hope for more options to come regarding houses.

    Dear Zenimax.

Seeing as now housing is here and we are running around gathering all sorts of new crafting blueprints and so and so, I am left to say I am feeling slightly dissapointed. The reason why?
No houses in DC can match the beauty of a Manor, and not just any manor, I will use this manor as my example of some of the manors we meet on our way in DC land.
I am of course speaking of the Manor looking as the one in Shornhelm/Wayrest and many more.

You have provided us with lovely homes, yet I feel as a home which would suit, which was perfectly tailored, which would have left me the happiest little ESO player.. Is missing for the lovely Bretons to be able to have. Yes we have two houses looking almost identical, the difference is a basement, and we have a lovely castle we can buy..
Yet I feel like you are missing somenthing important for many of us.

    Rooms.

    XS694r9.png

Rooms are such an important part of a house, surely we can make our own if we find the prints for planks to put in our house, yet we leave out this lovely style of home that has everything an RP'er and a person with the dreams/hopes/ideas of how our dream house in ESO could look like.

    H40oqMi.png

This house in my opinion atleast, would have been a house I had gladly payed my 3.7 million gold for, or even better, bought for Crowns.
A house with potential for a garden around it, adding to the beauty of the home, especially if I may be as bold as to say.. For us who enjoy the RP perspective of the game.
Thus this home not being added as a home for us, I ask of you Zenimax, could you ever consider in your hearts, to one day, hopefully, add this house for us?

Sincerely, a smiling breton who loves her manor.

Creating rooms yourself from crafted furniture is not an option for me. I'm not going to give up x amount of furniture to make walls. I'm already struggling with overdecorating my house

The whole your post I was wondering when you were going to get to the horses. Lol that's what I get for misreading the title.

Here's my horse response anyway https://youtu.be/OjngQcPPI1E

But yeah back to your topic, I think rooms would be nice! Especially for my Earthtear Cavern.

I thank you for the input regarding the horse.. That was truly majestic and fantastic, hah!

But yes! Creating walls yourself will take up an insane amount of furniture space, merely to block of other rooms, which as said, will not help regarding making it 'match'.

The reason I am so keen on especially this house, even if it is Breton, surely there must be some houses for other races with rooms aswell in fair sizes:

    SZu09gT.png

I just honestly think they could have thought the different sizes more through, yes this is a large home and it would most definetely compete against the Daggerfall Overlook in popularity, seeing as Daggerfall have 2 rooms seperate more or less.

I just hope in the future, more options come, even if they are limited edition as fx the Island we are getting.

Thank you. And and I agree with you wholeheartedly! This game has the best housing feature than in any game I've played. But they can still even improve more with what you've said. Furthermore decorating would be a bit easier is you could enter an observer mode so you can place things up high without stacking blocks or wooden ramps up.
