Actually, I would have stuck around and taken the boss down again in this particular case, as they want to leave the boss up to exploit. Do that about 15 or 20 times and it would leave me satisfied and smiling.
If they say nothing, I take it down and leave and go about my business. Karma does not have to come from the Universe.
That's not very community ambassador of you...

Farming and grinding gives you far more gold and materials then questing so why should anyone waste time to do quest when you can achieve far more by farming?
I think ZOS should re name this game from The Elder scrolls Online to The Elder scrolls farming or grinding... something similar to that nature.
Things are worse than usual in Craglorn this week because of the Jester's Festival double XP. People have spent gold on XP pots, paid for Skyreach runs and other things, and really get pissy when their agenda is in conflict with other people like yourself. Like everyone else has said, feel free to report them, but definitely mute them and don't capitulate to them.
And if you're on XBOX NA, hit me up anytime you want to do some Craglorn group quests/activities. I'm almost always solo and really enjoy Craglorn when I can get one or two people to group with.

But hey that's just me crazy talking.
Funniest (not rude) one I had was when farming on my DC main in Goblin cave in Cyrodiil.
A red came in, politely said "if you don't leave I will kill you"
I responded by attacking him.
He slaughtered me
