We got an XP buff using the Pie of Misrule. Since the buff won't countdown you logout and the event is ending, the smart thing to do is use the Pie, get the buff, logout on that character. It is a memento and can be used whenever you want. Because if there wasn't an XP buff tomorrow for a different event, then the pie of misrule will no longer give free xp buff with Jester Festival ending. By doing this, it allows you to prolong the free xp buff even without Jester's Festival......
But then again, we have anniversary event this week, so really this 'hack' as OP calls it is almost not needed anyways.0 -

The pie is located in your MEMENTOS section. Right now, while the event is active, you get a 2-hour 100% boost to all experience gained. The timer for said pie does not countdown except while the character is actively online, so you can have the 2 hours later on, even after the event has ended (and the pie's xp bonus is no longer a byproduct of eating it).0 -

Uhh, then that means you do have the pie. I don't think you know where to look for it (Collections -> Memento). It's literally the very FIRST quest you need to complete that will give you this pie (1000000% drop rate) in order to do all the quest for Jester Festival.
