Xbox One controller on PC - no weapon swap

I've searched everywhere on these forums, on Google, etc. but I can't find anyone having the same problem as me. I mostly use keyboard/mouse but I'd like to be able to relax and play with my Xbox One controller sometimes. When you switch to the beta controller mode it gives me 3 preset layouts and all of them have no button for weapon swap. Every diagram I see has the Sheath Weapon/Swap Weapons as the left D-Pad, mine just says Sheath Weapon for left D-Pad. Has anyone else had this issue or know of a fix?

✭Dpad left for weapon swap. There are a few threads on how it is very clunky, with people using different hands to access it.
If you are using the xbox elite controller then moving weapon swap to a paddle is so much better (and also makes activating an ultimate much easier).#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.0 -

I've recently moved to PC from Xbox and i still use my control for the moment, No issues here left on dpad to swap, but it is delayed/clunky and i will be switching to Mouse in a few days when it gets here. Did you check the Xbox Control Mapping it may be switching to down on the right or left stick.0 -

How do you change mappings? I have 3 preset mappings and none of them have weapon swap. I read somewhere that I needed to update my controller, so I tried, but said it was up to date.
I figured I was the only one having this problem, but I can't figure out hot to fix it. Thanks for the input everyone though!0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Changing your keybinds for controller is the same as doing it for keyboard. Pres ESC on your keyboard, head to settings, keybindings, and you'll notice there's like #1, #2 etc. for every action. #1 is likely your actual keyboard keybindings, so find weapon swap, click #2 or whatever to change it.. and press left D-pad on your controller.

Here is one of 3 templates I can use for my Xbox One controller on PC. They are all basically the same, with a few button changes, but no weapon swap....0 -
di_rty✭✭✭Ok, so I finally figured out a workaround, for anyone who is having issues.
Once you set to Gamepad Mode, you then use your keyboard and click ESC, navigate to CONTROLS and change your mappings there. Not super intuitive, but it works!
