Hey there,
I use the Necrotic Orb (or better the Mystic Orb) for a while now and run into a very serious bug: In some dungeons the Orb won't float forward. Instead, directly after casting the orb it just disappears rendering it useless and wasting 3k of my magicka. I know that the ability triggered since it will do it's first few damage beams (while the bubble itself is invisible) before it stops to work.
Reproduction steps:
1. Slot Necrotic Orb or morphs
2. Use it in any of the dungeons listed below
3. The orb won't float forward nor appear, the first damage/heal beams will trigger but then it stops to work.
4. Sometimes it works if you jump and cast midair, sometimes not
Confirmed dungeons:
- Spindleclutch (works almost nowhere in there)
- Darkshade Caverns (same as above)
- Elden Hollow ( especially the whole part with the bridge and the big room below that before and after the twilight/ plant boss)
- City of Ash 1 (The platform with the "warden of the shrine" boss)
- Arx Corinium (the dungeon areas, works fine in open air areas)
- Direfrost Keep (as above)
- Wayrest Sewers (First Boss (Malubeth) area and the area of the lich boss until the stairs of the ghost boss in sewers 2)
- Tempest Island (dungeon areas, open air areas mostly work)
Even Trials:
- SO (certain parts of the bridge leading to the stonebreaker troll they fall below the bridge)
- AA (last boss on a certain place they'll float up towards the sky)
I'll add more dungeons if I can confirm more. While testing, I found out that, while stairs work like a charm most times, the orb seems to have a problem with floating above ascending/descending terrain or uneven grounds.
Please get this tested and fixed asap as it's completly impossible to use the ability like this.
