In the busier areas (PS4 - NA) you MUST be in a group, or have a group AoE to even get credit for the dolmens. You can't get a hit on invisible enemies... grabbing a pinion is your ONLY other hope - and that's slim pickings...

✭✭I stay away from the busy areas and can find plenty of vacant dolmens to take on solo. Unfortunately I still get 1 or 2 blow-ins turning up, usually just before the final boss or while the final boss is up. But then again I have turned up at that point quite a few times myself.
And my first attack in any fight is always an AoE DoT attack, regardless of where I am. Whether there are 3 players or 23, I have never missed dolmen completion due to the number of players.Australian on PS4 NA server.

✭I had that problem with world bosses but never with dolmens. I guess it only ever gets busy enough to cut off xp during events.0 -

✭Just try and do them outside of peak times. I cant understand why people go with like 40+ to a dolmen. I mean wth 4 trial groups worth of people for a crappy dolmen with crappy drops.Ah, e-communities - the "pinnacle" of the internet............yeah, right.0 -

✭You need one hit or one ally heal to get credit. In the busiest of areas it can take 30'seconds to load enemies, so you can miss credit. If the load is long, throw out an ally heal or spam range attacks.
But 99% of the time you won't be running to a dolmen about to close and it's not an issue. Try waiting at dolmens instead of running to open ones.0 -

However dolmens give horible xp in huge groups, they give an decent xp for first time kill afterwards questing combined with random overland grinding is far better.
Dolmen in an 3-6 man group give good xp.
They are nice for leveling skills, Say you want to level up tanking skills, equip an junk heavy armor, shield and sword, and do the dolmen zerg and you level up the skills unlock and add S&B skills as you get them, then HA reach 50 go commando under an costume
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.1
