"The Transformation" Holiday Quest?
I got some random quest, i dont know how, called "The Transformation". It had a vague and very different description than usual ESO quests so I immediately searched it up and found only 1 forum about it saying that it's from the makers of HarvestMap (an eso addon). I am so confused on this and how tf this exists. Any1 wanna explain?

✭✭✭✭✭My guess is your on PC. It is an April Fools day quest brought to you by one of your friendly addon devs. My guess is Harvest Maps. I think they did it last year.
Could easily be wrong about which addon. I am correct about April Fools Day joke that it is.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭It's suppose to be a single day memento, a dwemer staff transformation thing, you're suppose to go to a dwemer dungeon kill a dwemer construct and it's suppose to drop.
It changes how you look to various costumes and things, most of which are no longer available.
It's from the HarvestMap people as a fun quest
All transformations only appear on your screen
There are mounts, but it is not your mount, the game thinks you're still walking, bringing up your mount will remove the image mount.

It has to be one of the "Delve" ruins and will usually drop from the first automaton that gives you loot. Stros is a quest only ruin, as is Upper Bthanual in Deshaan. Lower Bthanual is also in Deshaan but is listed as a delve so it works, as did the Inner Sea ruin in Stonefalls.0 -

It is a temporary moment that when used transforms your appearance to a Costume/Polymorph/Or places you on a mount that exists in the games Data files but the character using doesn't own. It is a client side only trick, so only you see it, to everyone around you, you appear like normal, it is temporary but you do have your powers in it even if the weapon you use seems to have disappeared. The memento can not be quicksloted so it has to be right clicked and used from the moment screen. Remember its just a client side illusion, if it puts you on a mount you are only able to move at your basic walk speed, since you are actually just walking to begin with. It is kind of fun to use it in a dungeon, get a mount, and be able to appear to fight from the back of it, even if its just on your screen. Can make for some great vid clips!
