Died On Exit From Coldharbour Due To 48,536 FALL DAMAGE

Come on ZOS, FFS, fix this cretinous mechanic, dying the moment you exit Coldharbour is ridiculous and it's been like this for at least two years (this is at least the 6th or 7th time one of my characters has suffered from it).

You can't res. 'here' as at this time you have no soul gems and if you take Wayshrine you end up a large distance from the Prophet which for a new player will likely cause serious bewilderment.

    There should be an achievement for dying from that much fall damage, sort of like the Slaughterfish achievement.

    This bug causes you to take falling damage as you materialise into the world and die .. THAT's what I'm on about.

    As I said, I've seen it several times but this is the first one I've had the presence of mind to hit Recap to see just why I died.

    How much damage do you get of you miss the pool after the 30 second long drop in vault of madness?
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Is it faction dependent? In EP you end up in an house and some guy talk to you, AD and you end up in an tower and prophet talk to you first.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.

    Granted, I have only done tutorial twice ever, but I never experienced this at all. Granted, both were on PC NA and for DC faction.

    You don't need soul gems (unless you levelled up too much in the Wailing Prison). Rezzing in place is free until you reach Level 6.

    Yes, they should probably fix it, as it's not intended. But it's a pretty rare occurrence and shouldn't be a big issue if you're Level 3 on leaving the Prison per the intended levelling curve.

    This was an issue they 'fixed' several times, and then every update it breaks again; specifically we're talking about leaving the Wailing Prison. It is odd because it is a random occurrence, and having recently created a few new characters, which I usually level to around 15 before leaving Wailing Prison, I've had this 'fall death' happen about 65% of the time.

    I didn't realize as @Enodoc stated, that you can rez for free until level 6... although this is no longer helpful since One Tamriel because many players do like I do and over-level a character before leaving the Wailing Prison. Prior to One Tamriel, Wailing Prison would ONLY level to six max, and then XP gain on enemies stopped... however, since One Tamriel, you can continue to gain XP as long as you want.

    Thankfully I always add Soul Gems before leaving the Wailing Prison thanks to Banker, but what about new players who don't yet know about Soul Gems?? To me, this is a VERY poor way for them to be introduced to the game... if they leave the Wailing Prison after they level beyond six, then fall to their death without any Soul Gems, they're screwed; now their introduction to the game is being forced to rez at a Wayshrine a distance away from where they're supposed to awaken.

    Lol OP I was once WAY behind enemy lines (near Altadoon temple (AD)) & I was walking, all of a sudden I fell through the floor and received over 20k fall damage and I had to respawn in our home base because the map was Yellow.
