Well, if people farmed AP like crazy during the event, I expect to see that jewelry on guild stores at bargain prices, so really not worth buying from vendor for gold. There are probably lots of players who have dozens of millions AP unspent, so they are probably willing to convert that to gold even at meager rate of 10/1 or even 20/1 as I've seen some of those gold jewels go for as little as 20K gold on guild stores.

If the jewelry is from a set that is BoP, it can't be sold. So Worm jewelry from the golden cannot be sold. Only sets that are BoE, like Dragonguard and Necropotence, can be sold.
I have the rings... Looking for the neck... It was in Lorkhaj before but now... I think few players got it and can sell it... But it must be very expensive..

At one point, some of the gold jewelry was BoE. I remember nabbing a full set of Knightmare and Shadowdancer last year sometime. I know Ebon went from BoE to BoP, so there may be some unbound gold jewelry out there from BoP sets.
