When spell power meant massive damage. 2x kena, clever alchemist, dual wield with spell power enchant, willpower with spellpower, 5000 spell damage and those crystal frags went ppppppooooeeeeeoooowwwwwe
Message me if you want to do trials/dungeons, or need a trading guild! Flawless conqueror magsorc with a bad sense of armor fashion.

“When the people that can make the company more successful are sales and marketing people, they end up running the companies. The product people get driven out of the decision making forums, and the companies forget what it means to make great products.”
I miss how bright and awesome everything was in the beginning, how clueless I was about everything MMO related and learning how to do a bunch of things I had no experience with. How I took the play any way you want much too far and then realizing this is a bad plan. But everything was so much fun when everything was super new. I loved the seemingly never ending amount of things to do.

When my mDK was a hybrid and used talons and bash to kill things bc bash was great dps. The nerf hurt my build and I had to start useing the stick and dress meta build XD
-Doshia was HAAAARD
-Craglorn when first came out as an adventure zone (I DID thoroughly enjoy - love the concept, but the execution....)
-I agree with Floppy -> Bash being the Best DPS build EVAH!
early on, when my friend and i were leveling our first characters in the vet zones, we were standing around after a quest and started taking damage from what seemed to be a piece of the terrain attacking us
early eso bugs are great

My favorite thing was the green DK projectile vomit spew from noxious breath before they nerfed the spell effects because of all the sissy whiners. Although the naked bug right after thieves guild released was pretty good too.

Do you know the old saying? Neither a borrower nor a lender be? Rubbish! Without borrowers and lenders, how would we ever be able to buy or sell anything?
But, pardon me. Welcome to the bank of Daggerfall.
My fondest memory was getting my beta invite for ESO, and letting my best friend know that I had gotten it. Starting the prison quests was a little getting used to, buy the detailed graphics at the time were something to remember. I had played GW2, and WoW, ESO was a step up from those, and I was impressed.
Using the mages guild convert health to magica for resource sustain. Weekly times being the actual time you spent completing the trial, and trying to get everyone make the jumps to cut that one more second from the HRC or AA run.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."
The first time fighting molag bal. They changed it over the years, but the first iteration, while longer, was really successful in making you feel godlike, 2 shoting titans left and right.
Pre ultimate changes generation changes, DK tanking with an ulti gen build, magma armor uptime was like 60%. Would pop it every trash pull, and multiple times each boss fight. Broken yes, but very fun.
- Rerolling and leveling multiple characters simultaneously for a few weeks, trying out each class and faction before settling on a main.
-
- Looting the hell out of Daggerfall bank containers and getting many motif books, and selling for some nice gold.
- Having lots of friends playing the game, everyone being excited with the buzz of a new MMO. Sadly many left after a month or so, but some have recently returned (gg ZOS marketing team )
- First few times in Cyrodiil, seeing the massive enemy hoards outside of our keeps. Getting killed many times before I knew what was going on. The thrill of my first player kill inside a building in Chorrol when I was exploring my old favorite city from Oblivion.
Some good ones:
1) 7 of us in Cyrodil, two very low level ones, we had a lvl 15 guy playing lute for an lvl 10 girl on from one keep under siege to another. Rest lay in ambrush, I protested as it was an too obvious trap, I was wrong, everybody fell for it, one guy did it twice.
Keept going over an hour until they trapped us.
2) Had avoided public dungeons at low level and went back to do them around VR1.
Did the one in Arduin at prime time, full of low level players having problems, I had problems myself as bosses was killed so I asked players to group up while I went around doing only aoe. Did multiple rounds to everyone got all bosses
And sweet revenge from then we wiped in elden hollow, repeatably on first trash, went back and soloed it
Soft caps;
Beta WBs;
Pre nerf Doshia;
Pre Nerf solo "lifting the Veil" (or w/e the quest was that you had to kill the 3 veil bosses in auridon)
Blue normal motif books being worth thousands >_<
PVP in the first 2-3 weeks on ps4, there wasnt a meta and everyone was playing how they felt.
Also, I played a NB and didnt know much about the other classes so every fight was a challenge. No idea what to expect from the other play it was great fun.
That was the first and only time I attempted Emporer and thankfully got it. Never bothered trying again
