    just some thoughts

    1. writ vouchers should be bankable across your account
    2. allow fulfilment of master writ to be done by "obtaining" the required item...by that i mean if your crafters are split across several chars then crafting on one char to complete writ for other
    3. similar to point 2 allow other player-crafters able to make the item you need and sell to you so you can complete master writ

Gave writs a try, didn't get master writs and now they don't exist to me like the housing update except to sell the matts for quick $.

It would be nice if you had a very high chance of getting a master writ worth 2 vouchers, so that every time you did a writ you would most likely be able to add something to your voucher pool, even if just 2 vouchers for crafting a potion you have to think about a bit.

It would also be nice if we got the occasional shipment of heartwood, regulus, decorative wax etc as a writ reward.

Yes even a tiny guaranteed amount to work/add to would be nice. As it is I mostly avoid the tedious RNG grinds unless they come naturally during my play. Its just not worth the headache imo.

I honestly think it's fine. And I honestly believe people complaining about the system stems from one thing: impatience.

If we could get everything we basically wanted from the system in a couple of weeks we'd more than likely hear a chorus of complaints about how lackluster it is, or 'there's nothing to do'.

Crafting dailies are still worth doing for the most part in and of themselves.
If you get a Master Writ consider it a bonus.

If you can be anything, be kind.

I like the fixed amount suggestions OP +1!

I mean it took me nearly 2 weeks to get my first Master Writ and then the day afterwards my second... HOWEVER they were both 5 vouchers... So yay me

The worst part is the system takes zero account of the rarity of the motif or even the difficulty crafting the set. I did a master write that required 9 traits (Morkuldin) and Celestial (Trials end game). Total vouchers? 7. That seems REALLY low for 9-trait, rare motif.

I mean, I'm not saying this should have been 80+ vouchers (it was only epic) but... 7? Really? So there's zero difference in vouchers for a crafter who has a 1 trait learned -vs- 9? That's crazy talk!

I just had a similar experience, so went on the forums to see if someone posted about this already.

voucher rewards make NO sense. I've had writs with motifs you can get incredibly cheaply becasue of how common they are and with sets that require only 3 traits.. award 66 vouchers. meanwhile this murkuldin order of the hour 9 trait writ i have sitting in my bags - only gives me 7?

the amount of vouchers writs award has GOT to be recalculated and it needs to take into account the rarity of the motif, how many traits the set requires and yes, whether its legendary or purple (I've had purple writ award twice as many vouchers as harder to craft, legendary one - its nuts)
    dirty worthless casual.

Provisioning writ drop rates don't have an RNG problem; they're simply equal to zero. :)

Technically, that isn't true. But it might as well be. As long as that absurdity isn't fixed, what makes you think ZoS will make any less obvious changes?

    stubbornness.

I mean... its insane. I got to master writs today. easy as hell alchemy writ that gave me 5 vouchers (and yes, its easy if you are just starting out - alchemy is one of the absolute easiest crafting professions to level up and unlike gear professions, there is no time gating component). and ridiculous clothing writ that is worth 7.. that i won't be able to craft for at least another 2 months. the disparity is staggering. and needs to be pointed out. again and again. who knows, maybe with some persistence, they will listen? one can hope

Honestly, I just think they need to sort out the drop rate. I'm pretty sure I have the unluckiest account on the EU servers - I got a couple of writs on day one, and nothing since. Bear in mind, my main is a max level crafter in everything. That's almost all styles complete, 9 traits researched in everything, most purple and gold level recipes..... the lot. In readiness for this update, I have another two who aren't far behind, and a further two who are mid level.

You'd think that, after a week of doing writs across all characters, that I'd get an average of one a day at least. Nope. Not even close to that. In fact, it was my lowest level crafter that got the best writ...... so much for RNG

It's a great example of how a really good idea can be poorly implemented simply because someone didn't turn the dial up enough. I think the same is true with Aetheric stuff - rare is ok, but so rare that most accounts won't ever see one? That's just stupid.

I had really hoped that this update would give something back to crafters, but I'm really not seeing it so far. Shame.

I honestly think there is something bugged out with master crafters getting writs. I had one crafter that was maxed out in everything but woodworking and i would get at least one master writ per day. However last week i maxed out woodworking on that character and now i have stopped getting master writs altogether. My other crafters who only have two professions each still get master writs each day!!

I'm getting about 100 vouchers a week average I already got everything I wanted from it. Now I'm selling the super hard ones and the ones I don't have the motifs for cheap. Now every time I get 10 together I just get the purple blueprints and learn them.

On top of that I only have one max crafter 9 trait that I do them in so either my RNG is amazing or people just crying a lot not sure. Most of the max crafters in my guild are getting about the same. 50-100 vouchers per week

Lucky you, my daily average (even after the patch that was supposed to increase the drop chances) on my master crafter is 2-5 vouchers per day. In the 4 weeks since Homestead dropped I only had 3 writs in 40-ish range. Makes doing the writs extremely frustrating ...
