Looking For Alternative Item Sets.

I need some help looking for Alternative Item sets. Appart from the crafting ones you can make, I do not know much about the dropped sets. Basically I'm looking for an alternative Item set similar to Burning Spellweave and Rattlecage sets that are sellable from the guild vendors. Does anyone know of some sets like this that you can buy? Perferably sets that will have jewelry in them? If not, then I will just go with two crafting sets and a jewelry set.

Note: If you are wondering why or going to suggest it. I found out how long it takes to farm these sets, and I really do not want to spend 3 - 5 weeks (or more) to get them.

Here is a list of all sets and the location where you can find it. Everything that does not drop inside a dungeon or trial can be traded with other players.

Some sets that could be interessting for you are:
- Spinner's Garments
- Necropotence (only if you are a sorc)
- Silks of the sun (only if you are dk)
- Martial knowledge (if you use only 4 pieces of it, so e.g. 5 spinner, 4 martial, 2 monster set pieces)
- Willpower (3 piece set, only jewelery + weapons exist)

And of course crafted Julianos is a reasonable choice aswell.

5x Julianos and 3x Willpower is a good base if you don't want to grind BSW. 5x Necropotence and 3x Willpower if you are willing to use a pet.

I got a set of Rattlecage in one run. Not the perfect trait but a working version. People I were with knew I was after it and traded their drops to me.

Before that; I used Julianos and entropy. If you want jewelry; then I'd guess willpower.

It's not going to be a perfect replacement otherwise; no one would farm the set

You are looking for overland sets, they drop from world bosses, and bosses in dvelves and public dungeons, jevelery drop from dolmens.

It actually took me 1 day to farm divine BSW, it is quite easy to find people to run it and we did it with 4 DPS so it was fast, I Off-tanked on my light armored MagDK.

I didn't bother trying to farm weapons, l use an charged rather than a sharpened BSW sword, that is a unique drop from one of the bosses. Plus people were rather generous in giving or trading for the jewels I needed. If you get a group together from a guild or friends you can do it fast and be sure they will trade you the stuff you need.

I have had a terrible time trying to farm other sets though.. it is just BSW that is easy because people always want it and the dungeon is easy.

I use Seducers crafted set as my base (and for my weapons) It is just a really solid sustain set for basically any Magicka user and it is only 3 traits.

I was using Silks of the sun until I got the BSW...

If your only after 5 body pieces for BSW and don't mind a few imperfect traits it doesn't take to long. I think I had mine in maybe dozen runs. But do it in a group so you can swap pieces.

These posts don't look very promising. I do not have the time to farm for sets. I either have to purchase a drop set from the guild vendors, or make a craftable set. Of which the set will be Suducers with Juleonis (however you spell it).

Also to the ones who said you got BSW so quickly, then you are lucky. I have yet to get any jewelry, weapon, or decent trait armor peice. As well as all the groups I've been in are not willing to trade their BSW drops.

This one runs 5 BSW, 5 Necro and Dual VMA Staffs (1 fire and 1 lightning) on a mag sorc. All divines and gold rings, purple BSW neck.

It really only takes that long to get the perfect traits. If your not going for leaderboards or dont mind a few sturdy or prosperous pieces you could get dungeon dropped sets fairly fast.

I'm getting ready to run through the dungeon on my 14th time today, of which will be the last. And I have yet to get any BSW jewelry, weapons, sheilds, or actual armor pieces that aren't hats or sholders. And I have to have the jewelry, otherwise there is no point in the set.

I look in the Guild Trader for Spinners, Silks of the Sun, and martial Knowledge. No one is selling enough items. So they're not very promising sets.

Hm, where do you play? On PC Eu I just checked one single guild trader in Craglorn for spinner and there were a lot of items including all jewelery, sharpened and precise fire / lightning staves, swords and a lot of armour parts in reasonable traits.

If on XBox EU you can find them in Mournhold or Rawl'kha.
