Low level as a Stam

As a low level Stam, how are you suppose to survive? Magicka charcs get restoration staff abilitys straight away and have no trouble surviving because of. But Im finding it very hard to defeat quest bosses and what not as a low level Stam sorc. Both the main Stam heals ( vigor and rally) take time to get and or not easily acquired as a lowbie. You unlock rally at LEVEL 38 2H. That's a while.... and then vigors just a pain to get ( seriously who's idea was it to make the main Stam heal a pvp unlocked ability). But the question is how do you survive as a low level Stam charc?

It is definately a lot harder for low level stam than magika characters, when I started leveling up my second character MagDk mage it was like being a god after trying to be a low level stamblade0 -

I mean, honor the dead and reaper's mark are also quite late into the skill trees. The earliest available are killer's blade and dragon's blood. The real answer is, potions, and use some of your magicka spells. ✭✭✭✭✭I'm guilty of leveling my Stamina characters as Magicka first getting all their skills, morphs, and passive perks built up. When everything is well developed I swap to Stamina so everything is ready for me to go down that route, the only thing I have to really level is their weapon skills while using Class Skills as filler until then.0 -

Urza1234✭✭✭✭The OP isnt wrong that vigor being PVP only is kinda ***. That being said resto is a weapon tree, stam weapon trees do have early healing skills available to them; Bloodthirst in DW, Brawler in 2H, or you can just run sword&board and block any relevant damage.
Also, just because you are focusing on stam doesnt mean you cant use your magicka abilities, especially early. Crit Surge/Hurricane is the Stam Sorc's bread and butter, you should have been leveling storm calling to get Surge starting from when you were level 1. Meanwhile summon clannfear can help with early sustain.
And recall that although magicka builds have easier access to healing and shielding, stamina builds can block and dodge more.
So no stam doesnt have an easy answer for sustain early on, but using the many techniques and skills available to you can make you just as survivable.Edited by Urza1234 on March 26, 2017 7:33AM0 -

Sorc's would use Surge (and then use either Power Surge for Magicka, Crit Surge if going Stam) and more than likely use resto /destro staves once weapon swapping at LvL 15 hit since they are Magicka based..
