About the performance on Xbox One

One quick question:

¿Is ESO too big for Xbox One?

I know the performance is not very good on consoles, but playing on Xbox One is a nightmare because the framerate drops like crazy when raiding or in dungeons, i'm aware that Zos is working on the fix for the DC's, but is there any info/ETA about improving the framerate? Because of this the weaving is imposible under heavy load, this is an issue on PS4 too, but it isn't even close to what happens on Xbox.

Whilst I play on PC, I do have it on XB1 because I took advantage of the account clone once the XB1 version was released. However, the game is unplayable in my view. Anything more testing than overland questing is a horrid experience and I'm genuinely surprised Microsoft permitted the release, ESO is so badly optimised it shows the console itself in a bad light, when in fact on any other game the XB1 performs just fine.

I cannot fathom that ZOS will fix this because they seem under resourced when it comes to ongoing game improvement, and instead appear to apply their resources to items that are purely monetisable. I could be wrong here of course, but this is perception I've built up from observing their behaviour since release.

Scorpio may improve performance a lot. The hardware on the Xbox one currently isnt good enough to run this game well at all. Yes i know there is problems on Zos's side too but the hardware on Xbox one is extremely outdated. I have played on all 3 platforms for what its worth.

Xbox make you want to delete your characters and use the disc as a frisby. There is no weave, there is no animation canceling. You have to play at the game's pace, not the game at yours. No matter how fast my hands are, one 1/16th of a milisecond off and Ward doesn't activate on rotation, death. The bar has to literally flip over to swap and the ability icons light up to activate. It's dumb af and I hate it.

That is incredibly inaccurate I'm not sure where to begin. The performance with ESO has nothing to do with the consoles hardware but more on the game. The issue extends even on PS4 pro's hardware and even on the Xbox one S; frame rate issues have always been around ever since a certain patch went through way back in I think 1.5 or 1.6 (forgot since it's been a while) on PC.

Indeed. The XB1 is a perfectly viable gaming platform, as is the PS4, and the vast majority of games run very well on both PS4 and XB1. There is simply no getting away from the fact that ESO is poorly architected and coded. The only reason it runs well on my PC is because my PC is a state of the art, very high spec machine. But even then, I have to suffer FPS drops to 20FPS in trials and some busy town areas. ESO has never been a great performer, but for me it sunk to new lows with the release of 1T.
