OMG(.) LOL.
Where is your post saying the same thing to the OP(?) Oh, there is none in this thread. Based on (exactly) what he replied, before you commented on my post, his experience is specifically based on his limited experience.
Go blow smoke up someone else's ***
(LOL.)
EDIT: And BTW, the ignore function is clearly designed to be the cure for the situations OP suggests. That is not just my (opinion) but others in this thread, and (large gap in text removed) (ZOS) has provided instructions on the use of the ignore function to block text chat from players. I have linked it to make it easier for people to (find) this very helpful information.

Just in case someone accidentally puts a player on their ignore list(,) (ZOS) has provided instructions on how to unblock them. I have included a link to that information as well.

(I'm) attempting to be as helpful as possible (by presenting) links to aspects of the (support system).
He (or she) stated that they knew it was happening. From actual experience. They did not give exact details regarding the scope of the incidents. You can go back and reread if you'd like. I know, from experience, that the Offline flag is abused often in PvP. Several times a day, at least. And that is just the content that I am exposed to during my play experience. It would be foolish to assume it is not abused outside of my knowing, when I'm not their to objectively observe it.
The ignore feature is flawed. Objectively. You're just King **** though, aren't you? All full of pomp and arrogance. You really put me in my place. Because that's what the forum is for. It's for you to puff up your cyber chest, and really shut people down. I think your festive Jester Crown has gone to your actual head maybe. Thanks for so condescendingly posting those links. It's not like they are part of the automated response message for virtually all player reports.
PS - Does your web browser not have spell check? It's been established quite thoroughly on the internet that, when you're attempting to tear someone down for no reason (and illustrate how superior you obviously are to them, that spelling and grammatical presentation matter. If you type like a clown, it makes your pompous little fart seem obnoxious. And a bit ironic too. Just sayin'? LOL?
@orinthol
You have been called out in this thread as being rude with your replies like this. Calling those who selected the agree option on that post does not make others trolls. They were merely expressing their opinion.
You can try to put me down but that does not elevate your argument nor make it correct.
Considering most of the replies in this thread are suggesting the ignore function to be used in situation OP suggests and more than one time it has been brought up that clearly OP is replying to the trolls in Cyrodiil, otherwise he would not know they were set to offline and replying to trolls is merely feeding them. A bad practice.
Further, it has been pointed out that changing how the offline feature works as OP suggests would not change a think. One could place themselves online, send the whisper then go offline again. No reason to change it.
All the best.
Could you just stop? You are trying to derail this thread, and are extremely unproductive. Also you are not as clever as you believe you are. Go away.
