You can only get the Royal Jester achievement if you're a nightblade

To complete the Royal Jester achievement, you need to get princess tothe jester without the Butcher seeing you. I have tried this on a non-nightblade in sneak mode and everytime I get near the exit she sees me.

    Don't sneak past her and just walk around her from a distance. Once you learn where she spawns at, its easy enough to do in your sleep.

    Yeah that *** just insta spawns near you, its worse than trying to open the 3 chests in 35 seconds without passiv

    I did get the achievement on a sorcerer and a dragonknight yesterday, so that's not true. Jut sneak slowly and keep your distance.

    Didn't even read the part of the achievement about the Butcher not seeing me. I fed the pig, mounted up, and ran off. Butcher still didn't see me.

    I failed it with my Nightblade (forgot it was an achievement so didn't bother with cloak) and got it with my Sorcerer.

    My sorcerer has no SP in thieves/legerdemain/dark brotherhood, so erm... yeah it's not really Nightblade only.

    I didn't check the achievement list and didn't even know I was supposed to sneak, I just rode a horse straight to the jester. Got the achievement. Looks like the OP is exaggerating a little. ;)

    OMG another nerf nightblade thread. Oh yeah, we are so awesome. They should make an exclusive inn where only nightblades can hang out.

    Edit: Try drink an invisibility potion. Does wonders for this quest.

    Edit edit: oh wait, then you cannot horse ride or run. I forgot everybody is in a hurry to do these quests just to get it over with and get all achievements on day one. Let's not have fun / read quests or look how to avoid butcher. run run run quick.

    I completed this on accident, didn't even try. Just casually walked through town on my mount with the pig and never was seen.....you're trying too hard( I'm a sorc btw).

    You must be doing something wrong. Warden is definitely the easiest to remain unnoticed.

    You can literally just blow past her with a mount.

    Done it on my DK with rapids and max mountspeed, then my baby templar who has no rapids and 17% mount speed.

    Didn't even realize this was an achievement until I read this post. I logged in to my characters to check. 11 out of 12 completed it, no problem. The one fail was a nightblade.

    The key...don't be aware there is an achievement.
